The AKG DHT70 is a professional digital 2.4GHz handheld transmitter for worldwide, license-free operation. With 24bit, 48kHz audio coding, it provides uncompressed studio-quality transmission and a linear frequency response.

The AKG DHT70 provides digital diversity and an out-of-range warning function to ensure a stable and drop-free signal within the entire operating area. A high/low input gain switch allows optimum level adjustment for clear, distortion-free signals.

Very smart system and a great way to save monies and rack space. Sound quality is above average, Battery life is enough to feel safe for two 4 hour gigs, but always be sure to have spare batteries. The red low battery warning works and is very visible. We were only able to purchase this product because of the zZounds four month payment plan so it pays to support musicians in making it possible for them to have good equipment in hand. Big mahalo to zZounds.
