The result is a quantum leap in sound performance. The D 3800 has what it takes - great sound, bullet-proof reliability and high style. Features include low pop & breath noise, low handling and cable noise, 50Hz-20kHz frequency response, and a a removable connection module that lets you add an optional AKG TM40 transmitter module to make it wireless. Include hard case and stand adapter.

The D 3800M is the best premium dynamic live-sound vocal microphone and will lift your performance to the next level! With wired + wireless flexibility, the D 3800M has what it takes--great sound, bullet-proof reliability and modern, classy styling. The D 3800M's modular output section lets you choose between wired or wireless operation with the optional TM 40 UHF module or a conventional gold-plated XLR with or without an on/off switch and it only takes a few seconds to change to either mode. With its supercardioid pickup pattern and wide, extended response, the D 3800M will let your audience hear every nuance of your sound.

The VariMotion transducer with neodymium magnet structure delivers higher output for increased dynamic range. The built-in double-diaphragm suspension system and humbucking coil ensure that mechanical and electronic noise is suppressed to inaudible levels. The dent-resistant spring steel grille with integrated windscreen is easy to remove and clean The D 3800M comes complete with an SA 61 unbreakable stand clamp and a metal hard-shell road case to protect the microphone. zZounds is an authorized dealer of AKG products.
