Bring studio-caliber vocals to the stage. AKG's C 535 EB handheld cardioid condenser mic provides the clean, open characteristic of AKG studio condensers.

The C 535 EB has the clean, open characteristic of AKG's best studio condensers, enhanced by a 2dB rise between 7 and 12kHz to project vocals in front of the mix.

An integral 4-position switch tailors output level and bass roll-off for a variety of uses. A sharp LF cut at the full output level reduces pops and handling noise in vocal applications, while a more gradual roll-off at the reduced output is ideal for most instrument applications. The C 535 EB requires 9-52 V phantom power.

The C535EB features a switchable 14 dB pre-attenuation pad and 6 dB/octave bass roll-off at 500 Hz. The microphone comes with black finish.

Many years ago, before buying, we tried all kinds of mikes and this one won, hands down. asthetically, it could be better and it looks very dated...not surprising as it has been around a long time!
Sound
As an ex pro vocalist/guitarist I used this mike for about eight years with no problems whatsoever and so did my pro singing (female)partner, who has only recently 'retired', after eighteen years with one....!! We used it to record the voals on a live album some years ago and it produced a better result than previous studio recordings. 'Live', we used with a Bose/Studiomaster PA and had CD quality 'live' sound long before CDs were common! Needless to say, I recommend this product as the finest vocal mike I know of...certainly at this price. After a gap of some years from performing, I am just about to buy another of these mikes.
Features
Small, light and compact.
Ease of Use
Connect...and sing!Adjust for personal taste and voice...easy.
Quality
We used two, on the road, in various countries and climates for many years,as stated above....no problems, ever.
Value
It is expensive...but a great mike.
Manufacturer Support
Never had cause to!
