Adam monitors don't get much more affordable than this. With a 5" woofer and a smaller version of the ART ribbon tweeter, the F5 is made for smaller studios.

The Adam F5 is the smaller of the near field monitors in the F-series and has been designed for listening environments with somewhat limited space.

Tweeter

The F models feature a version of ADAM's highly acclaimed ART tweeter. Slightly smaller than the X-ART tweeter, it is the next step in this continuous evolution in tweeter design.

Midwoofer

As the name suggests, the F5 sports a 5-inch woofer made from carbon and paper and a 25 mm voice coil. Despite the size of both the woofer as well as the cabinet, the F5 is capable of an astounding deep yet tight bass response.

Controls

Several controls to adjust the monitors to the environment are located on the rear panel: two room EQ's for both the high (>5 kHz) and the low (<300 Hz) frequencies as well as a volume knob (-0 to +6 dB).

Finally, I have a pair of Adam's.. at a PERFECT price! I was excited to see these things come to light and didn't hesitate to buy. I'm used to the 8" cones of my Event SP8's and was debating on getting KRK's but these things are GREAT. Due to the front port, the bass is perfect. No phasing at all though they aren't as loud as I'm used to, They do the trick and give me accurate representation of my mixes. GReat Job Adams. ZZounds shipping was also fast and tech support was great since I had a minor issue I think was due to shipping. ZZounds help was professional accurate and FAST. Zzounds, needs to open up a store in Massachusetts!!!! ADAMS F5 are worth it, if you need bigger bass get the F7's. I produce DNB and these do the trick. The sub is next!
