Description
The American DJ LS80 LED System is a great all in one set up for any mobile entertainer. This popular American DJ lighting system features four LED par cans; one red, one green, one blue and one amber. Each par can uses 12x 1-Watt LEDs producing bright color washes of light. Plus each par can is rated at an extremely long 50,000 hour life and features a 25-degree beam angle. Dimensions of a single par can is 7 x 7 x 8.75 inches.

The LS80 LED System uses the T20F chase/foot control system. Users can operate this easy-to-use chase controller directly on the T20F controller itself or with the foot switch. The T20F features: 20 built-in programs - 10 normal chase programs and 10 chase programs with fade time, 7 pre-set scenes, black out, plus master/slave and DMX operation.

Feature:
Everything you need to add some small wash lights for a mobile DJ or small act. I like the Elation dimmer pack and also the fact it comes with a foot switch. The Par cans are bright and light up a small to medium sized area well. For $400 though, they could throw in some diffusers or gels.
Quality:
The stand is of decent quality, but the Pars are very light and made with very thin metal. Wouldn't take much abuse to break these, but if you're like me, you baby ALL your gear.
Value:
Good value for a beginner light setup. I bought a truss, so the pars are going on that, but I'll have the tree for other lights.
Desirability:
Simple par cans with a simple stand. The cans would definitely look better black, but for me it is a non issue. I like the look of the smaller leds instead of a few bigger ones, but again, this is a good entry level kit.

N/A... Hopefully never. I've heard American DJ's support is horrible and even non-existent.

I have custom made flight cases for all my cans and lights. I will always keep these around (so long they last) for smaller gigs. Good value, great for somebody to buy wanting to get into lighting.
