The LX6 is a professional 4 in/6 out, 24-bit, 96 kHz audio interface with a powerful DSP that replaces the need for outboard effects and outboard mixers. Now with 88.2 kHz support! ...and it comes with Cubase LE recording software.

The LX6 is compatible with almost all audio recording software, and is often used with Steinberg Cubase VST/32 & Nuendo, Cakewalk Home Studio & Sonar, Emagic Logic Audio, Syntrillium Cool Edit Pro 2000, and gets ultra low-latency performance with software synths and samplers like Native Instruments, GigaStudio and Propellerheads Reason.

The LX6's DSP effects allow for monitoring with effects while recording without any latency, similar to monitoring with outboard effects processors. This latency is unavoidable when using plug-in effects or native software effects on input. Integrated within the powerful DSP mixing software, the DSP effects provide a real-time, high-quality recording environment that rivals the real-time performance of outboard compressors, 3-Band EQs, reverb units, and outboard mixers.

The DSP powered LX6 Control Panel mixer software provides many of the features of an automated digital mixer. It includes a Drag-n-Drop digital patch bay, digital peak metering, VU meters, Record FX switch, and Presets for snapshot recall of any setting on the entire Control Panel mixer. The LX6's superior sound quality comes from its low jitter clock, shielded 24-bit/96 kHz converters and uniquely shielded PCI card, all of which are specifically designed to keep out computer noise.
