"The best guitar I've ever owned"

Sound:
I bought this guitar about 3 yrs ago in a Music store on consignment and I was lucky, the price I gave was incredble. This guitar in my opinion is the best,I really believe it has more to offer than other brands such as Gibson or Martin.I started playin when I was 6 and now I'm 50.I also played professionally in Nashville doing demo guitar session work and songwriting for Publishing companies so I know what to look for in a guitar. The eq system is better than any other brand I know of and the craftmanship of the neck has superior feel in playing.Plugged or un plugged you can't beat this guitar.I can truly say that only top of the line guitars made by well known Luthiers, custom builders could possibly be this guitars equal.I am very humble and grateful to possess this guitar.Thank You Taylor with all my heart.DLMJ

Overall:
This guitar will stay with me until I pass from this lifetime

"Take it from the livingroom to the stage."

Feature:
On board EQ & tuner. Made it easy to go to Drop D, DADGAD and probably any other if you wanted.

Quality:
Scraping up the cash for my own now.

Value:
Have played other top of the line guitars, and this is it when it comes to value for the money. As good as a MartinD45 in sound though not quite as flashy in looks. What matters most?

Sound:
At a Halloween costume party I asked the band leader/guitarist if the guitar he had sitting on stage was a Taylor 410CE, and he seeing that I knew something about guitars asked me if I would like to play it. With a little proding from my wife, I accepted his invite and joined in on a couple of covers with the group. My apprehension gave way to sheer delight at the feel of this fine instrument in my grip. I was ecstatic. Ended up soloing for an hour and a half, before I realized the room had filled to standing room only listening to the incredible harmonics and tone I was sending through the air. I think I died and went to Heaven.

Ease of Use:
This guitar made a novice sound like a pro. What more could you ask for?

Support:
N.A.

From Our Catalog
Sporting a Venetian cutaway and Taylor's Expression System electronics, this versatile Dreadnought is ready for anything. From your living room to the concert stage, it's ideal for medium to heavy strumming and flatpicking.

Woods
Sitka Spruce Top, Ovangkol Back & Sides
The quick, articulate response of Sitka spruce is combined with the warmth and sparkle of ovangkol, giving the 400 Series a tone reminiscent of rosewood, yet uniquely its own.

Dreadnought Refined
A traditional shape refined, we combine classic dreadnought volume and bass response with the definitive Taylor sound: clear trebles and an open, airy midrange that Bob Taylor's signature design accentuates. Dreadnoughts respond especially well to flatpicking or light-to-heavy strumming.

Taylor Expression System
Designed to faithfully reproduce your guitar's native tone, the Expression System utilizes patented Dynamic Sensors to capture top and string vibration like never before. Created in partnership with renowned audio pioneer, Mr. Rupert Neve, the Taylor ES is seamlessly integrated into the design of the guitar from the ground up. Onboard tone controls provide added flavor, or set flat for an uncolored, exceptionally clean amplified sound.

Satin with Gloss Top
The finish used to create this guitar's textured satin back and sides and lustrous gloss top was developed at Taylor for maximum durability and resistance to cold-checking. This ultra violet-cured finish is also more environmentally friendly than traditional lacquer finishes. Available in natural finish.
