Feature:
You should buy the floor board so you can get everything out of this amp: The only thing I find that I dontlike is for the external jacks on the back-they have a plastic ring on the outside and can break.
I really love the xlr mic jacks - you don;t need to compete with someone who has a full stack of Marshals.. the electronics here are so solid you can go right into the mains and use the amo as your monitor.
Quality:
As stated before the plastic rings for external jacks are a concern. everything else is great/.
Value:
can't compare
Desirability:
excellent amp for anyone
Sound:
There are 2 types of players:1 bare bones tube and 2. effects players.
This amp will please both and possibly make a couple bare bones guys change their view about effects. I don;t need to use anything else but this amp and my floor controller to duplicate almost anything. with the volume pedal used as swell I can even get a 'string's sound with a little delay. very impressive. This amp will serve well someone who is into recording or live production/
Support:
never needed it
; but some minor parts are tough to find for the layman
Overall:
won;t use anything else from now on.

Feature:
It comes with 4 built in fully adjustable preset channels, and you can upgrade to 36 with the shortboard. The knobs are easy to use, and amp model changes and cab changes are a snap. I dont like the way they set up the delay and modulation effects knobs in that for instance you lose your number of echo repeats if you go to adjust the echo relative volume... Dont know why they did that...
Quality:
Tough, and good looking. I am a little worried about tearing the mesh over the speakers... but there is a soft road cover.
Value:
Knock out amp for $700!
Sound:
This amp has so much going for it, I find it difficult to describe. The variety you get out of the different models, the quality of the onboard effects, the magnitude of the 150 watts of power, and easy interface, all make the amp a real keeper. The amp models take some tweaking, and that is easy to do. The different cabinet models change the tone dramatically. Some people on the Line6 forum gripe about a couple of the marshall amp models, but not having owned those amps myself, I must say the sounds are great. An important tweak to know about is to turn off the noise gate when adjusting drive and tone, and then turn it on, as the gate cuts a lot of drive occassionally. I also push it at times with an Electro Harmonix overdrive, and it sounds great with that. I recommend getting the shortboard for foot control.
Support:
No idea.
