"I son't see how you could get a better deal on such a versatile instrument. The price is a steal."

Feature:
Duncan design pickups. Well, judging by how these are sort of a lower end manufacturer for Seymore Duncan, and they sound THIS good, it is safe to say that I will be in vesting in Seymore Duncan brand pickups when it comes time for me to customize my next guitar in the future. Great feature, there. Floating bridge systems don't really matter much to me (I am a rhythm guitarist), however it IS there for someone who wants a floyd rose for this kind of a price, so you can't go wrong, there.

Quality:
Well, like I said earlier, the features were very well made, and the quality of the product is very good, because it's taken some abuse from me, and it's still tickin'. The playability was phenominal, and the body and materials it is made from are just beautiful to see. I own the transparent red, and damn is it a beauty.

Value:
For the price I paid for it, or even for the price offered here, you couldn't get a better deal. You get some much to the good for your money: floyd rose set-up, next-to-pro quality humbuckers, amazing finish, great sound and tone, yeah . . . you couldn't ask for more at such a low price.

Desirability:
Oh yeah, this thing is sexy. My friend is jealous of my axe. :-P

Sound:
Well, first of all let me say that this was the first guitar I ever bought, so I really can't compare it to anything else I've played, but I can tell you that those who have played it and heard it say that is is great, so i will take their word on it, because I happen to agree :). What's great about this is that it can play some of the most wonderfull-sounding tones when it is played clean over my little Randall combo-amp, so imagine how great it would sound over a half-stack! It is very versatile, with the best sounding mids and lows at both ends of the spectrum-- heavy and melodic; clean, and distorted. Really, a great piece of equipment.

Ease of Use:
The problem was that this did not come with a manual where I bought it. It was a local shop, not this website, which is where I should have gotten it (I know, I know . . . ). It was my first purchase, and I didn't know any better to check and see if I had it's manual, HOWEVER, I must say that for it to not have had a manual included, I picked this thing up VERY well, and for it to be my first guitar ever, it must be very versitile and comfortable to play, because the ease of the neck movement, the comfortable action, etc. completely floored me. So yeah, it's a good buy in my opinion.

Support:
Alright, now here is a slight low, but it may be unique only to me, so don't let this knock down your opinion of this, because it truly is an excellent guitar. The floating tremolo at some point ended up causing the tuning to constantly fluctuate, and it was a pain to keep in tune, so I had to put a trem-setter in, which 9os fine, because I play rhythm only, anyway, so I didn't need a tremolo system after all. I never had any other problems, however, so I never even needed to contact Jackson directly. It has lasted me this long without any more problems, and that is the truth.

Overall:
Yeah, despite some tuning issues with the tremolo system, this thing has given me no problems. You won't need to change pickups or any of that typical stuff when buying non-custom guitars-- everything is top-notch right out of the packaging.

"Awsome!!!!!"

Feature:
I like simple on my guitars and this has everything that I need. The floyd rose works well and I have not had problems with tuning except when I changed strings which was my fault but it still tuned up well after I got the strings broke in and stretched. The fretboard is fast and has a low action. I had a little buzz on the low E string which I fixed by adjusting the bridge. I like this guitar a lot.

Quality:
The finish is good and clear, I got the metallic red and it is a nice color deep and vibrant. Thr metal hardware shines good and the knobs turn easy without any static noise or roughness. The floyd rose tremolo works good and stays in tune. I have been rough with it and it has performed flawlessly.

Value:
Good guitar and for the price it is worth it. If it is taken care of properly it could last a lifetime easily. A jackson in this price range may not be a soloist but it plays very well and I am pleased with it. I think that it probably plays better than some other more expensive guitars.

Desirability:
Very nice in the color I have plus the reverse headstock and inlays scream heavy metal. This guitar can be used for any type of music though.

Sound:
The duncan designed pickups sound good and hold sustain well through my marshall. These are just the duncan design pickups and not the actual duncans. I still think that they are good pickups for a guitar in this price range.

Support:
I dealt with customer service about getting a jackson manual for it because one did not come with it. The representative emailed me the PDF version in about five minutes and I printed it off. It is my understanding that Fender does their manuals this way now and you can get the fender manuals off the website in PDF but jackson does not have the downloadable version on their site. There are differences between the way Jackson sets up their guitars and the way fender does theirs, so don't download the fender manual and think it is the same cause it is not.

Overall:
Great guitar!
