"I love it."

Feature:
It only comes with an AC power unit, battery back-up would be nice.

Quality:
Very well made, flat and sturdy.

Value:
It is not as pricey as some other units but it sure does deliver the sound.

Desirability:
It has a futuristic look, my Stargate friends wondered when it would send us through the wormhole! LOL

Sound:
I own a Flying V with Duncan Distortion pickups and a Peavey Audition (small practice amp). It has a great pre-amp sound but switching between clean and overdrive was a pain. I was jamming in a local music shop enjoying a full selection of badass amps that were at my disposal, the rep from Hughes and Kettner showed up while I was playing and asked me if I had ever tried the Warp Factor pedal. I told him no, and he hooked it up. I was impressed, so much so that I bought the unit right then. When I took it home and ran it through my Peavey I was even more impressed. This unit has a great sound. It’s a must for the metal rocker. Two thumbs up!!!

Ease of Use:
The features are simple to use.

Support:
Never needed it

Overall:
As a musician ONE product will NEVER meet my needs, (one can never have too many toys. This is however a great unit, and if it were broke or stolen I would most likely buy a new one.

"Buy this pedal."

Feature:
Gotta love the sub-switch. Also, this thing ain't gonna break anytime soon. You could kill someone with it.

Quality:
Solid lump of metal.

Value:
Worth ever penny... but anything over the stated price is taking the piss.

Desirability:
Looks as mighty as it sounds.

Sound:
Let's get this one out the way first. This pedal sure as hell isn't just for "Nu-metal" (what the hell is that anyway?)... I play slow heavy blues-rock and was looking for something to really fuzz up my amps. Dear god, nothing comes CLOSE to the H+K Warp factor. This pedal works for any style so long as it involves being fuzzed-out-to-all-frig.

Ease of Use:
Couldn't be easier... Gain, Warp, Level and sub-switch. Crank all of them up till you get desired noise. Easy.

Support:
Never needed support... and it takes one hell of a beating day in day out.

Overall:
Damn I love this pedal. All I need is massive amounts of distortion to rip off old Jethro Tull numbers... this serves the purpose (and then some).

About This Product!
Description
Docs
Ultra low, ultra bad and fulminating with explosive energy -- that's the formula for 21st century guitar tone. An unprecedented sound, conventional rock 'n' roll amps don't have what it takes to deliver it. Now finally there's a solution -- the Warp Factor -- the first stomp box that injects Nu Metal energy into every amp.

The Warp Factor's special circuitry generates the kind of fierce distortion and dark, heavy chunk that powers modern metal styles. Simply insert it between your guitar and your amp's clean channel, drop your axe's tuning, and stand back 'cause a mammoth metal sound is about to bowl you over! That sought-after drop-D sound is the product of highly charged, low-frequency energy that no battery-powered circuit can deliver. That's why the Warp Factor gets its juice from a wall wart.

The Warp effect's EQ characteristics, gain and output level are separately variable; a selector (sub) adjusts the sound to suit combos and 4 x 12 in. stacks.

The Warp Factor turns every amp into a merciless Nu Metal monster!
