"nice delay"

Feature:
Basic and complete set of features for delay. I'd give a 10, but competition is added a modulated delay which seems a very natural and useful extension.

Quality:
seems sturdy. The on off switch is very quiet. I found it to be very picky on proper power source. Slightly used battery or aging power supplies greatly affected the noise of the pedal. Not a problem but may require that quality power supply/battery is used. The rubber that holds the bottom plate in is a little tough to get on, but after 10 years of use will it still be pliable and work.

Sound:
The sound of the delay is very natural and pleasing. It reminded me of the old Boss DM-2, but with much longer delay times. The self oscilating feature was cool but seemed to loose sound quality instead of just infinite repeat, still nice. The way the level knob adds 0-100% of delay signal to the constant 100% dry signal and the way the the feedback allows new signal to come in even at close to 100% make it very easy to dial in nice settings.

"just a great little pedal...."

I was a bit leary of this pedal due to its size and the fact that it's digital, but it really sounds good. I think it's easily worth what the other companies charge for digital delays and it doesn't sound digital! Fits very nicely on a pedalboard, too. One word of advice -- get the adapter!

About This Product!
Description
Multimedia
If you've ever played a tape echo, you know that their tone is not dark sounding like some people claim, but actually quite bright and clear. The MD-3 gives the user the crispness and clarity of a tape echo combined with the longer delay time of a digital, while its controls react like an analog unit. 30-2600 milliseconds of delay time are available, more than enough to create an entire range of classic delay effects from Rockabilly slapback to Arena-rock washes of excess and everything in between.

At higher Feedback settings (above 3 o'clock) the MD-3 will self-oscillate like an analog delay, creating cacophonous cascades of repeats, UFO-landings, ray guns, and other bizarre sound effects. At lower Feedback settings (around 2 o'clock) the MD-3 can be used for multi-layering of short parts, creating beautiful, ethereal soundscapes that slowly fade into infinity. In addition, the MD-3 has a lower current draw than other digital units, which means you'll spend less time changing batteries and more time playing!

Quite possibly the smallest delay, unarguably the best: Try the MD-3 and discover what perfection is all about!
