Feature:
Active pickups with OK EQ setup capabilities. Pickups may be a little bit to boomy.
Quality:
Very nice to look at. Seems to be built solidly, but the electronics might as well be thrown out.
Value:
I wouldn't recommend this product to anyone looking for "the bass." It is a good backup or practice bass, but I wouldn't pay retail for it. If you can find a used one between $100-250, I would pick it up, but not much more than that.
Desirability:
I loved the looks of this bass as well as the initial playability and sound. Once it was "broken in," it wasn't quite so appealing to play. Still looks nice though.
Sound:
It was great when I first bought it. Extremely hot pickups, almost too hot. Once the strings broke in, which didn't take long, it became very dull. No clarity whatsoever. I chalked it up to old strings and changed them, and found that wasn't the problem. It seemed the fretboard was wearing down and the neck seemed to be warping, creating virtually no resonance or sustain. I would recommend this to a beginner or someone on a budget, but for anyone looking for a good quality gigging bass, keep looking. I would recommend looking into a Schecter Stiletto Elite 5 String. Much better quality for relatively the same price.
Ease of Use:
Easily playable, but the sound is another story. Very difficult to find the sound you're looking for unless you want astoundingly booming lows. No mid/high range.
Support:
I gave it a middle of the road because I never had to reach anyone.
Overall:
I actually traded this bass for my Schecter Stilletto Elite 5 String about a year ago. Had to pay about $200 out of pocket from the trade, but it was well worth it. If you're looking at this new, pay the additional $100 now for the Schecter rather than trading it off in 6 months.

Feature:
The pickup are some of the best I have had the pleasure of using.
Quality:
The workmanship of this instrument is if the highest quality. Access to the battery compartment could be better
Value:
The best bang for your buck !
Sound:
About the best sounding bass I have played. In combination with an Ampeg BXT210M speaker cabinet and an Ampeg SVT 3 Pro Head, the bass really comes to life. Can be fine tune adjusted any style music you play. Great bottom end for country or blues.
