3-position hi-pass filter. 3-position pad. High SPL capability.

Packaged in a small, rugged metal housing, the equitek e70 condenser microphone provides transparent, accurate acoustic capture. The low mass 1/2 in. gold sputtered diaphragm makes the e70 the preferred choice for high frequency sources rich in transients such as cymbal, hi-hat, strings, acoustic guitar, woodwinds and piano. The transformerless design reduces low frequency distortion at high sound pressure levels. The 3-position hi-pass filter and 3-position pad provide the versatility required in demanding live sound and studio applications. The interchangeable capsules provide both cardioid and omnidirectional pickup patterns for greater flexibility. The e70's accuracy, high SPL capability and size make it a valuable tool in the professional audio environment.

Sound
I'm quite happy with the mic - it's almost free, it's solid and heavy - it delivers a really good tone - the two capsule deliver a surprising difference in sound - almost like having two mics. The HPFs are also very effective. Definitely a great choice, especially for the money.
Features
two cpasules - cardio and omni
Ease of Use
the switches are hard to get to, so expect to ding the thing a little - but for $50, who cares?
Quality
excellent quality, but comes in a cardboard box - no biggie. Was alerted to this by a tech who regularly works with any mic you an imagine and told me this is a ridiculous price/quality mic and he's right.
Value
My understanding is you'd have to go waaaaaaaaay higher in price to notice a difference in quality and even then, only slight.
