"Good value in a needed tool."

Feature:
The flexibility of this unit is a strength. You can play A or B or both. You can play A for example and plug a tuner into B and bypass to tune if you don't have a pedal tuner, or if you're playing around in the house and don't want to get out a pedal tuner. I used it mostly to route two amps....but also routed two guitars a couple of times for the heck of it. I find it much more flexible than a stereo effet, because with the effect you HAVE to have both amps playing at the same time. Want to use one amp for clean...and one for dirty...you will need an ABY. Someone mention it doesn't have an output for a wall wart. BWA HAA HAA HAA HAA...... I can't help but laugh at the pettiness. I mean....all the battery does is run the LED. There is not electrical parts to power other than that, so a battery will last about what...2 years or more.

Quality:
I have never had a moments trouble with it at home or at gigs. No popping, tone sucking or anything else.

Value:
Pay over 100 bucks for something else if you want...but I am experienced with this little box and can say it is a very good value.

Desirability:
It's laid out well and looks kinda cool to me. Not boring like the old black whirlwind. But who really cares....it's a non tone tool to get a job done.

Sound:
Not much to add to the rating. It's not an effect. It does exactly what it's suppose to.

Support:
Why do they always want you to rate this. There should be an N/A here because I don't have a clue. Never needed support.

Overall:
The product has done exactly what I needed it to do for over 2 years now. Still satisfied.

"Nice box, but it's LOUD when you switch!"

I'm totally disapointed. The quality of the box is nice and the features are great, but not only do you get a loud "CLICK" when you switch between amps live, if you tap on the outer case you get a loud THUNK, like tapping on a live microphone. Rolls will not return my Tech Support emails. I talked with their technical support and they said it's supposed to do that. I spoke with the VP, explaining the situation asking what he could do to help (hoping he'd take it back) and his curt reply said, in essence, it's a simple switch - tough luck All in all I'm very dissapointed with the pedal...

The RFX ABY32 is a signal-switching pedal that allows switching between 2 guitars connected to the same amplifier or you can switch between 2 amplifiers connected to the same guitar. Dual common connectors allow for constant connection to a guitar tuner and dual LEDs indicate A/B or "BOTH" status. The compact ABY32 is made of an all-steel chassis with 2 heavy-duty footswitches. (9-volt battery required).
