Feature:
The bass came as it was, and the only thing that anoys me is you have to turn both tone nobs down to lose the volume. It should have its own separate volume switch.
Quality:
Tho only thing iv had is the tone nobs loosened thats it.
Value:
The last bass i had was the Yamaha rbx775 which i paid a fair amount for, but the Ergodyne is the best value iv come across and i got it on sale, so im laughing.
Desirability:
for the price your paying your getting a good deal. Not only does it sound good and is comfy it looks good.
Sound:
the BOOM! switch makes the Ergodyne what it is. With the boom off its kinda dull sounding but a soon as you turn it up it has an insanely sick and thick sound. it has a lot of top end and a lot of bottom, wich is good if you want to be heard in the music or doing tap solos.
Ease of Use:
The body shape is made to fit yours. I have played on a lot of basses and this one would have to be the most comfortable. The action is good close to the fret bord and the strings are close together so its easier to do sweeps and fast finger picking.
Support:
i hav never had to get in contact with IBANEZ for anything.
Overall:
I would probably keep it for a few more years, and when i make enough money ima buy a spector 5 string.
