One morning a few years ago this was under the Christmas tree. I had mused to my wife that I'd like a bass for Christmas but never thought she'd go through with it! All I said was that I wanted a P-bass and this was the lowest priced one in the store (on special). She grabbed it and it's perfect. Never would have picked it myself but I'm sure glad she did. Just the way it goes I guess. I have gigged with this, with a pro-sound setup and it sounds wicked. Don't let its "basic-ness" fool you it plays and sounds awesome.
