Feature:
For a passive electronic system it is fine. Nice and simple a tone and a volume! The bass came with a cheap cord, which I will never use. The finish is very nice looking. Heavy on the laquer, should take a beating...not on purpose of course!
Quality:
Excellent quality for $200. Certainly built to last. We'll see if I have any loose bracing in 5-10 years?!! I doubt it!
Value:
Oh, just go and buy it. You really cannot go wrong. You will not find anything comparable unless you hawk ebay and get a fluke good sounding no-namer. I would have paid probably $100 bucks more for this.
Desirability:
Sex appeal?? that's and odd take....but anyway modify it on your own, make it yours, customize it!
Sound:
Sound is quite exceptional for a $200 bass. Very even sounding not too bright. If the bass came with Bronze Wound strings, that would be optimal for un amplified playing. The bass should record well.
Ease of Use:
Of course it is not a Martin or an Earthwood, but for $200 it is dandy. I had to spin the truss rod about 3/4 turn to tighten it up and put the saddle on the grinder to not only lower it, but there was a dead spot on the D string when amplified. This usually means either the saddle is not sitting straight or the actual transducer is kinked or not seated properly. Every thing is fine now! You may or may not have to adjust yours as radically as I did. Almost every newly purchased guitar requires some set up attention!
Support:
I am sure they would be responsive, it seems that with all the paperwork that came with the bass, all the grievance apparatus seems to be in place...hey, I'm an optimist
Overall:
I would get another!
I like everything about it, I just want to play it and attempt to get better on the bass. I have a few electrics already
