"the pedal that packs a painful punch for a pretty pleasing price"

Feature:
the features are pretty standard as far as pedals go. although ive never seen a pedal with the push in knobs, and thats pretty cool, but ive also never had a problem with the standard static knobs. also, not needing a screwdriver to access the battery is great. the wack'd setting is kinda goofy, but its a good extra they threw in to pretty much double the sound range. its hard for me to take anything im playing with that setting seriously though.

Quality:
the quality of the cf7 is great. its a nice, sturdy, rugged pedal that can take its share of beatings. the knobs dont get loose over time, nor does the footswitch lose its firm springiness. again, great quality.

Value:
the value of the cf7 in my opinion is probably the best aspect about the pedal. for the price you pretty much get 2 pedals in one, because both the chorus and flanger have sound quality which could rival most other 50 chorus or flanger pedals that only have the one effect. they dont lose any sound quality putting the two into the same unit. perhaps its just the way i am, but chorus and flanger are two effects that you get more use out of and that sound the best. the cf7 is definitly worth its weight in gold by far.

Desirability:
to be honest i think the ibanez tone lok pedals are the ugliest pedals ive seen. it kind of reminds me of like, the old apple II computers you used to use in elementary school compared to the sleek laptops of the present. but it doesnt really matter what the pedal looks like as long as it sounds good. guitar playing isnt a beauty pageant. the only negative aspect of the boring, ugly design is that if its displayed next to a chorus/flanger of a different company that is more aesthetically pleasing and about the same price, i imagine people are more apt to go for the prettier one.

Sound:
the cf7 sounds pretty damn good for a 50 dollar multi-effect pedal. obviously it could sound better, but if youre looking for that kind of quality then you shouldnt really be buying a 50 ibanez pedal in the first place. the chorus is nice and full and not "fake" sounding, and its actually kind of hard to preset it so it sounds bad. the flanger also sounds pretty nice, but as far as flangers go its def. lacking. but again, if you want a kick ass flanger you gotta reach deeper into the ol' wallet.

Ease of Use:
of course its easy to use. any pedal is excluding the crazy electronic digital crap. analog is the only way to go. but yeah, 4 knobs, a chorus/flanger switch and a normal/wacky switch isnt exactly rocket science.

Support:
i havent had a problem so i dont have much experience with dealing with the company, but i imagine they wouldnt be that helpful.

Overall:
overall its a great pedal. everything about it makes the purchase a good decision. its got great sound, durability, settings, and its easy on your wallet. i definitely recommend the cf7 for anyone who enjoys using chorus or flanger who doesnt mind, for the price and the 2-pedal-in-1 design, a slightly less than amazing sound. i think paying 50-60 bucks 2 effects that sound surprisingly good is a much better option than paying 100 bucks for a chorus pedal and another 100 bucks for a flanger pedal that have a slightly better sound and wider range of settings.

About This Product!
Description
Multimedia
For 3 decades Ibanez Electronics has created effects the working player could afford, but couldn't afford to be without. If your current boxes aren't having the right "effect" on you, it's time to "lock down" some new tones.

The CF7 creates shimmering soundscapes, whooshing jet plane sounds, and contemporary "Korny" churps and blurbs. The schizo "Krazy" switch lets the CF7 be a conservative Dr. Jekyll with the "normal" mode (classic chorus and flanger), or you can turn pedal into the proverbial Mr. Hydeáthe "Whack'd" mode imitates the contemporary modulation sounds used by today's phattest rock bands. It's like getting 2 pedals in one.

Speed, Depth, Level, and Regeneration provide precise effect control.

On the outside, Tone-Lok effects are equipped with the Ibanez exclusive "set and forget" Push-Lok rotary pots. Push the knobs down and your tone settings lock securely inside the case. No more lost settings or knobs broken by ticked off lead vocalists stomping off stage.

On the inside, Tone-Lok pedals feature hi-fidelity components carefully tweaked with the constant input from a new generation of Ibanez players. And all this great stuff comes encased in a cool looking, road tough metal boxes at prices the working player can afford.
