"more like a whoa pedal"

Feature:
An LED may be helpful but I don't mind not having one.

Quality:
Solid build - I don't see any issues.

Value:
I would buy another one immediately if something happened to mine.

Desirability:
Purple and chrome - awesome.

Sound:
None of that face melting high end squeal with the toe down like a lot of the more popular brands. Everywhere is a sweet spot. Very vocal and smooth.

Ease of Use:
Step on it and sweep.

Overall:
I've had a few wahs through the years and this one takes the cake. I suppose there could be better ones out there but that would be more of a personal preference. For the price this one can't be beat.

"Me Love My Little Budwah!"

Feature:
I love the true bypass. Other wah pedals sound like they're still on when they are bypassed, but not this one!

Quality:
It seems to be built well, I am very happy with the product!

Value:
I think it's a little pricey, but it seems like a high quality pedal. This thing is very quiet when it is on. That's important to me

Desirability:
It's chrome and purple. That's pretty cool.

Sound:
If you like the Jimi Hendrix wah sound, then you will love this!

Ease of Use:
Simple to use, no controls to worry about.

Support:
Haven't needed support.

Overall:
I will keep this wah for a long time! I've tried the Bad Horsie wah. It's a good wah, but as soon as I turn it on it has this loud hum to it. That pretty much ruins it for me. I use high gain Marshall amps, so every little noise is heard. It's important for me to keep unwanted noise to a minimum. That's why I like the Budwah!

From Our Catalog
Although the wah has been with us for many a year, the newer designs have not addressed some of the problems inherent with the older circuitry. For example, take the loading and muddiness of the signal when the wah has been bypassed, the narrow frequency range and the use of substandard parts for assembly. Taking these issues into account, Budda Amplification researched the original Vox wah and designed a modern version incorporating the original specifications with upgraded tonal characteristics. Analyzing the original "Fasel" inductor was the first measure taken to obtain the tonal sweep that made the original Vox wah the tool that it was. Budda's design offers a frequency band that has the mid range honk and top end boost of a vintage pedal without the harshness. The next step was to conquer the tonal loss and muddiness that occurs when you bypassed the wah. By implementing a "hardwire bypass" modification, Budda has been able to eliminate the wah completely from the circuit so that you retain your amp's and guitar's true tonal characteristics.
