"Want great sound, want results, go with this!"

Feature:
I run 2 guitars, lead vocals and backup vocals and it has sounded great. Never mic'd the drums because we dont have a drum kit but for everything we have used them for they have worked great.

Quality:
I have had my pair for about 6 months give or take a little. They have been loaded, unloaded, stored in a barn and they still look new. They have carpet and it is easy to clean if you need. They look professional and I have no complaints. These are road ready and will last a long time. Like a said the only thing negative is the wieght but it is built to last.

Value:
My great grandma always said you get what you pay for.I believe I got the best. I reccomend these to any band.

Desirability:
These speakers look nice, stay clean, dont show wear and tear and look pretty sexy to me on my stands.

Sound:
The speakers are the most expensive in its category but I bought them based on reccomendations from other bands. I bought them, have owned them for about 6 months and they are great. You get what you pay for and I wouldn't get any thing other than these. I get a great sound, can hear vocals clear with 2 guitars playing through these speakers. My band plays hard rock and we get a great sound. I run a QSC 1400 power amp and a Mackie 1604 VLZ pro mixer with it and next I am buying the Yamaha stage monitors. I have heard another band use the peaveys and they got a real distorted sound, not real clear. JBL is probably the next best but I would definately go with the Yamaha Club Series. We crank it up and they work great.

Ease of Use:
It is easy to get great sound from these speakers. The only thing is it is a little heavy for one person to lift up high and put on a stand. Other than the weight they are great.

Support:
I am giving a 10 because I have never had to call for support. Never had one problem, no upgrades repairs or problems. Like I said my pair works great and could not be happier.

Overall:
I expect to happy with these for a long time. When I am tired of them I will buy me another set of Yamahas speakers. I would not go with anything other than the Yamahas, I have had a great experience and hope to add to my set up soon with Yamaha Club Series stage monitors.

"You can't go wrong with these."

Feature:
2 1/4" jacks is pretty standard. Angled body allows for use as a floor monitor. Hole in bottom for stand use. Nice rugged feel to them. Also, new built-in handles on this design replaces the crappy old strap-handle on their previous 15" monitor. Good move! Seriously. That old strap handle sucks.

Quality:
Fit and finish were fine, but one of the rubber feet had a slight issue. Also, I worry about the standard black carpeting on it, but so far it has held up. Take a point off for that one bad rubber foot.

Value:
Excellent bang for the buck! Seriously. People seem to love getting JBL's and Peavey's... yeah, well, don't ignore these speakers... they definitely sound good!

Desirability:
Hey, for the money, it was the best speaker I could afford. I listened and compared and these simply had the best sound - fattest bottom end, nice and clean up top. For the music I play, that bass butt just has to be there and no 12" was going to give me enough. And it does the highs and mids very well. The updated look is an improvement over the previous model... and it looks like it simply means business.

Sound:
Nice, fat, bottom end. Deep, very deep. Nice thump. Good mix with mids and highs - only small complaint with top end - very minor and it could be my powered mixer at fault, hence the 9, instead of a 10. Still, excellent response and sound for the money.

Support:
Haven't had any problems so I don't really know

Overall:
I will replace these when they blow out or when I get some sort of recording contract and can afford some PA stuff that costs 5x as much. Beyond that, I see no point - they simply work great! Especially for the cost. If stolen, I'd go hunt down the thief and do some damage in return, THEN go buy another set. You can get louder for less with a Peavey, but it won't sound as clean. You'll spend more for JBL's and won't notice a real difference... unless you go with the 12" JBl's... then you'll hear the fat Yam 15's THUMP beat up all on the JBL's... What do I like least about them? I have to carry them - like all other good 15's, these are heavy to tote.

The Yamaha S115V - Great sound at a great price!
For more than 16 years, Yamaha's popular Club-series PA speakers have been delivering pro-quality sound at an affordable price. They continue to refine their design with the fifth generation Club V. Perfect for gigging bands, DJ's, and houses of worship, the S115V loudspeaker combines rugged construction and advanced electronics to get your sound out to the crowd.

Improved woofer design
Better bass response in the new design adds depth to the music and improves your groove. For the S115V, Yamaha and Eminence Speaker Corporation developed a new 15-inch woofer, bringing a bigger boom to your bottom-end. Oversized magnets offer increased power handling and longer life, and the beefy, oxygen-free copper voice-coil reproduces rich, tight lows all the way down to 55Hz. The extra energy in this frequency range will help your audience feel the beat and connect with your sound. When you see the crowd respond to your music, it will push you to a whole new level in your performance. That's what turns an average gig into a truly memorable experience.

Large titanium tweeter
While it is important to firmly establish the groove at a live concert, high-frequency reproduction can make or break your set. If vocals or guitars sound harsh or tinny, even the funkiest bass line can fall flat. This loudspeaker system uses a pure titanium tweeter for natural, transparent highs up to 16kHz in any musical style. Wailing metal riffs and earthy roots chords come through with equal accuracy. The two-inch dome compression driver, among the largest in its class, floats vocal melodies and guitar solos out across the room with shimmering clarity. Your mix will have texture and detailed dynamics across the entire frequency spectrum. There's no need to work around the limitations of your PA system; these speakers are fully capable of delivering all of your music, just as you intend it to sound.

Custom-engineered horn
Have you ever had two people come up to you at the same show with two totally different impressions of your sound? It may have to do with where they were standing. The girl in the center of the room may think everything is great, while the guy back by the bar says the guitars are too muddy or the vocals sound muffled. The S115V's tweeter is coupled with a custom-engineered horn to disperse upper frequencies throughout the entire room. The 90 x 45-degree pattern provides a wide stereo image for an improved listening area. No more dead spots or prime locations; all your fans get to enjoy the same great mix.

Advanced electronics
Bullet-proof crossover circuitry further rounds out the sound. Oversized coils, professional-grade power resistors, and high-voltage capacitors create a smooth midrange balance across the woofer and tweeter, even at high volumes. With 500 Watts of program power and 1000-Watt peaks, you can play any venue without pushing your loudspeakers past their limits. Indoors or outdoors, you'll get the same great results. Two pro-quality Speakon connectors and two 1/4-inch jacks per cabinet allow for versatile connection options and daisy-chaining of multiple enclosures. You can add S115V's to any power amplifier or powered-mixer setup with ease.

Rock-solid construction
Durability and long life are a big part of the Club V loudspeaker design. The S115V is affordable, but it isn't cheap. The cabinets are manufactured in the United States, then hand-assembled by skilled craftsman, discarding any defects. High-quality, void-free particleboard is used in cabinet construction. This material, produced from southern yellow pine, is strong, lightweight, and environmentally friendly. Its rigidity reduces internal vibrations, preventing unwanted distortion as the sound exits the cabinet. Durable carpet covers the wood, and the corners are protected by steel caps. Heavy-duty handles and a steel pole socket further ensure many years of reliable use. Working musicians depend on their PA systems to deliver their music, gig after gig. In many cases, the show can't go on without the PA. Club V speakers will always be ready to rock when you are.
Once again, with professional features, excellent sonic performance and great value, Club Series loudspeakers deliver premium quality night after night.
