Feature:
This cab is lightweight, looks and sounds great, and has the socket for mounting on stands for use as a small venue main. The power handling is listed in the manual at 300 program / 600 peak which is higher than what I've seen it advertised. If you want mega low end shaking the house you probably want a larger cab with a 15" in it. However the bass reflex system in the BR line will likely surprise you. But in all honesty this speaker is a solid and versitile monitor with surprising punch and Yamaha quality, not to mention a 3 year warranty.
Quality:
No worries about quality. This thing is made in the USA by Yamaha and backed by a 3 year warranty.
Value:
If you are looking for a monitor / main that has a good full range sound, don't overlook the BR line from Yamaha. Sounds as good as more expensive cabs for a lot less money.
Desirability:
The cab itself looks great. I purchased the BR12M because of the sound and power handling capacity. It's a great deal. The sleek, low profile design is gravy.
Sound:
Great clarity for a small price tag. Sounds almost identical to the pricier C12V. Puncy bass, clear upper-mid range, and crisp high end is easily achieved with very little EQ adjustments.
Support:
Haven't needed any support from Yamaha and I don't plan on needing it.
Overall:
I had several different monitors of various brands, sizes and styles recommended to me. After looking at the features such as power handling, components, etc., listening to a few of them side by side in a "sound off", and of course comparing prices, this seemed to be the best deal for me. There are a lot of different styles of music and a lot of different opinions on what sounds good and what doesn't. The BR12M had the features, the versatility and the sound that fit my need.... and the price was right!

Feature:
Handle, 2-way connectors, grille, carpet covering, pole mount. Not much more I could ask for.
Quality:
We've been using it for 2 years (one gig a month) and haven't had a problem with it. We're actually looking to buy a second one.
Value:
This is good value for the money. You can buy cheaper if you don't use it too often or you can buy more expensive ones if you gig heavy and you're very particular about your monitors.
Desirability:
Floor monitors aren't supposed to be sexy. They're supposed to be invisible to the audience.
Sound:
My band has been using it as a floor monitor and it does the job.
