"Good choice for starters and jammers."

Feature:
Contained the Peavey 15-watt amp, a learn the basics DVD, some plastic picks that I used for a bout 15 minutes until I saw my pickguard all scratched, so off they go. Also a strap, an electric tuner, a gig bag and one really thin cable that I wouldn't trust my life on. The guitar has 21 frets, bridge humbucker, a middle single coil and neck single coil. Again for the price, this was the best thing I would get and I'm really satisfied. It includes all the necessary tools to modify your whammy, bend the neck and lower the strings.

Quality:
The guitar falls out of tune really easy, but since its a starter guitar, I find that, in a way, good to train your ears and tuning capabilities. The glossy finish is just fantastic and sexy. If you take care of your guitar, I think it will last you for quite some time. Sometimes you might get a buzzing sound coming from he bridge which I haven{t been able to identify and fix. Hence the 7. Once I fix it it'll be a 9 again.

Value:
This is my first electric, I've been only playing for about 7 months but I definitely think this was a smart but, at around $200.00 at a local store, which is as low as I could find, I think I got away with a really nice set. This guitar definitely looks like at least a $400.00 one, and if you look at the head, the Peavey logo resembles a signature, so you could get away with saying it's an autographed guitar by someone famous (WARNING: If the crowd gets too close, you'll be screwed)

Desirability:
The glossy sunburst finish is DAMN SEXY. I've never been a real fan of burst finishes until I owned one of this babies. All the girls love it and it makes you look like you know what you are doing on stage.

Sound:
Has 5 pickup selectors, so there is plenty of tone to go around. It came with a Peavey Backstage 15-watt amp which has an overdrive channel, master volume, high and low knobs. Which, I believe, could be improved. For the price, I'll let it slide. The Pickups could be improved, I'm thinking about replacing them as soon as I can. A friend of mine that has played guitar for 13 years says they are not that bad, who knows, maybe I'm just picky.

Ease of Use:
If you just play it out of the bag, you'll find that it's obviously out of tune and you will spend around 10 minutes trying to tune it up, even with the tuner it comes with. Then your high E string might pop in your hands. After you put in some decent strings (because the spare strings might have popped as well) you tune and you can start jamming. Remember, the key is to mess up with your guitar up to the point where YOU feel comfortable with. The neck is really fast once you lower the strings. I played it factory settings for about 4 months. Today I lowered the strings and DAMN! This neck is FAST, you can get really fast shredding just by placing the finger on the fret, no pressure needed. The only thing is that left hand muting is hard now haha. After this workaround with the strings, pinch harmonics are ridiculously easy now. I'm telling you, get this while the price is this low.

Support:
Never have to deal with them.

Overall:
Once I have enough savings to get an Ibanez RG series I'll go for that, but I'll never sell this guitar. I'll keep it forever, for my jamming and live playing, to improvise or whatever. I'll even upgrade the Pickups to get the most out of my buy. Don't let the sucky amp drive you away from this product, you can always buy a better amp or pedal.

"Know how the solder"

Feature:
I love the tone switch but it could have used more tone knobs

Quality:
Some of the wiring came lose so I had to re solder the wires on the tone pot and the mono jack kept fallin off so i put some 1in chrome plated screws on the jack plate and some thred loker on the jack

Value:
Great gutair for the money

Desirability:
Fairly sexy but not like an sg or les paul by any means

Sound:
It sounds okey when the pots are working

Ease of Use:
It is very playable great value for the money

Support:
Never needed them

Overall:
I'll probably keepp it forever so I have something that i not afraid to break when i jamm out.
