"Great looking amp, even better sounds!"

Feature:
Good - does what it says on the tin. 2 channels, clean/crunch & lead. Each channel has 2 modes and it would be nice to change those from the footswitch. Its pretty versatile with seperate reverb for each channel and an effects loop - but its no JVM.

Quality:
Very well made - mines an early one, after 12 months of sitting on a shelf it turned on & sounded great with just a small warmup. Construction is very solid.

Value:
Mine was just over half the retail price - used they are better value. New - still pretty good compared to boogies, Diezel etc...

Desirability:
Just look at the logo.

Sound:
If you want that classic marshall tone with a bit more versatility than a 2203 or plexi this is your amp. Clean tones are the best I've heard from a marshall (probably with the exception of the new JVM). The crunch and lead tones really rock! As a caveat YOU MUST BIAS the amp before making up your mind. Mine had been sitting in a shop for 12 months without being played. Sounded ok in the shop, but once it was biased and re-tubed (only cost £20 for new JJ's) it was amazing! Sounds best when cranked! :D Its also really responsive to your playing, how hard you attack the strings etc...

Ease of Use:
Don't know how you could get much easier. Set the pres=2, treble=2-3, mid=4, bass=4-5 and pick your gain level & volume.

Support:
Emailed marshall a few times, although not with this amp. They respond quickly and are very helpfull.

Overall:
Don't think I'll ever sell this amp - I'll just get more marshalls :)

"Not bad..."

Feature:
The foot pedal and the two channels i guess gave it a bit of versitality

Quality:
The build quality was defently that of a higher end marshall you can tell by the weight and how the knobs look all securley on.

Value:
To be honest buying this new would be silly because for that price i think you could get something better used.

Desirability:
Probably would be appealing to many because of the bands that use them and the name of it. and the facts its tube.

Sound:
Sounded a bit to..."normal" to me didint really blow me away in anyway If you messed about with the settings for a while maybe you could get a decent sound

Ease of Use:
Very easy to use not lots of complicated knobs and buttons anyone can just dial in what they want and you get a decent tone out of it

Support:
I havent bought it or anything i tried it in a music store so i dont know

Overall:
Overall 6 Just didint give me much of a kick compared to mesa boogies and other amps ive tried. i acctually even preffered a peavey valveking to be honest.

Description
Docs
Marshall has specialized in the production of valve amplification since 1962. The unique tone and playing response of the valve has formed the cornerstone of the Marshall "Sound of Rock," which we have modified over the years to cope with the changing demands of the evolving guitar player.

Imagine an amp head which draws on all the massive, wide open classic valve power of the original Super Lead Plexis, but with control facilities to take you through the full 36 years of Marshall tonal heritage and beyond. A head which is packed full of all the classic Marshall valve openness and roar that you could ever want, with more massive gain capability and a clean sound quite unlike any Marshall before. This description fully fits the JCM2000 DSL100 Dual Super Lead.

Features
100% pure valve signal path using Svetlana EL34 valves [when not using the Reverb or Effects Loop].

Two channels - Classic Gain and Ultra Gain.

Crystal Clean to massive Crunch switching on the Classic Gain channel.

Lead 1 to Lead 2 switching on the Ultra Gain channel.

Tone Shift switch to reconfigure the way the tone section [particularly the
Middle control] works.

Deep Switch which introduces unique Marshall resonance circuitry for increased bottom end.

Effects Loop with level selection switch.
