"I love my cracked Gibson Es137cu"

Feature:
I wont be using the veritone switch as i play old country music but my 34 year old son does when he plays it. .And eventually he will end up with the guitar.

Quality:
It is well made and beautiful to look at. But things happen and my guitar has a crack in the side in the cutaway area. It is at the Factory in Memphis as this is written for disposition. I'm hoping they will send me a new one in leiu of a repair.

Value:
This is the perfect guitar for me and well worth the price. I prefer it to the ES 335 which is higher priced.

Desirability:
Every player that has come in contact with my ES137cu triburst has marveled over it's color and overall appeal, and they never refused when i asked them if they would like to try it out....All the secondary opinions were very favorable.

Sound:
Sound is great and fits my music and style with no. 12 flatwound strings on it. I don't play lead too much so bending the strings is not a factor. I play it thru a Danecho Danelectro device then into a Peavey Bandit 112. All the guys in our jam group love the sound.

Ease of Use:
It plays fine now that it has been been set up by a non factory professional. Playability was not that great out of the box.

Support:
The factory was easy to reach and returned my email w/i 24 hours. But better yet was the Store of which i purchased it. They sent my guitar back to the factory for me and loaned me a NEW Gibson 335 to use while the es137 was at the factory. How the factory responds to the crack issue is yet to be determined...

Overall:
This guitar is expected to be played for two generations in my family. That is why i took my son with me to purchase it. I wanted him to like the guitar equally well as he will inherit it when i'm gone.I doubt very much that we will be able to wear it out..After all, it's a Gibson beautiful and tough, in my opinion.

"THE GUITAR DREAMS ARE MADE OF"

Feature:
This guitar is perfect! Every detail of it was made to make any guitarist envious of the owner of it.

Quality:
This is the Cadilac of guitars. The last guitar you'll ever have to buy.

Desirability:
Just looking at this guitar makes my nipples hard. Sex appeal? No doubt about it!

Sound:
I had the pleasure of playing this guitar a few times and fell in love with it. I've been playing for thirty-six years and this is by far, the best sounding guitar I have ever played.Maybe in my next life,I'll have one and will be able to give someone else the honor of getting to play it like someone did for me.

Overall:
This guitar would send me to meet my maker with a smile on my face. I have other guitars, but this one would always be my favorite and I would guard it with my life.
