If you do not already own Pro Tools LE 7.0, you will need to purchase an upgrade before installing the Music Production Toolkit. The update from Pro Tools M-Powered 6.8 to Pro Tools M-Powered 7.0 software is free. The Music Production Toolkit includes an update from Pro Tools 7.0 to Pro Tools 7.1 software.
Pro Tools software and the Music Production Toolkit do not yet support Intel-based Apple Macintosh computers. Digidesign currently anticipates that new versions of Pro Tools LE 7 software, Pro Tools M-Powered 7 software, and the Music Production Toolkit option, with support for Intel-based Mac computers, will be available in May 2006. The update to this new software will be free for all registered users of Pro Tools LE 7 and Pro Tools M-Powered 7 software and the Music Production Toolkit.
