"WOW!"

Feature:
The top feature on this amp is the "Shape" knob on the solo channel. The shape knob is the secret to my tone, and in a special solo I wrote,I use all one hand hammer on's,and use my shape knob to drastically change the tone as I go through various frequencies. I normally keep my Gain at 3 o'clock, shape at 1 o'clock, and level varying. My tone is badass.

Quality:
This amp came with a small flaw, but only in fault of the way it was shipped. It is super durable, and has an awesome metal grille, because it is too rock for cloth.

Value:
I would have expected to pay more than $500 for this package. It is incredible.

Desirability:
It just LOOKS metal. It screams,"Crank me, call your friends".

Sound:
The clean channel is the cleanest in rock, and I can take it over the top in volume, and it's still clean. The Rythym channel is thin and exposed, but I have found a use for it.The solo channel is MASSIVE. I can get Dimebag,Rhodes,VanHalen, and Zakk Wylde in an instant.

Support:
No need.

Overall:
When I am playing big venues, I will need a big badass setup. so I will have between 2-4 crate GT1200H's. I'll never change.

"Great amp, Great price, Great buy"

Feature:
no real effects on it but i always use my digi delay and that works great.....it does have reverb and that always sounds good

Quality:
built like a tank...thats all i gotta say

Value:
At 499.99 for a half stack? this price is incredible

Desirability:
the metal grill is sic looking and having everything in black just makes it look mean

Sound:
this thing can roar, it will blow ur head off, its so loud...the only problem is that the distortion on the solo channel is a little outta control (and not in a good way) im gonna put an MXR-108 EQ on it and then this thing will be killer

Ease of Use:
ive never had to deal with an easier amp, the channel selector makes this section a 10

Support:
never had to call em and i never think i will

Overall:
overall i was very happy w/ this amp, if u like playing metal and dont have a half stack, definently check this out.

From Our Catalog
New for 2004, the GT1200H features many unique technologies that make Crate solid-state amps the choice of players everywhere. Crate's patented "FlexWave Evolution 5" circuitry replicates the tone, response and feel of tubes in a solid-state circuit in a way that no other amplifier can. It adds a little compression, low-end distortion and a great tactile "feel" to the preamp circuit.

Front Panel Controls
Input: Use this jack to connect your guitar to the amplifier by means of a shielded instrument cable.

Solo/rhythm channels: High gain channels giving you sounds with serious overdrive.

Solo LED: This LED illuminates when the Solo channel is selected.

Gain: Use this control to adjust the amount of distortion produced by the Solo channel.

Shape: Use this control to "dial in" the tone for the Solo channel. Rotating the control counterclockwise
enhances the mid frequencies, while rotating the control clockwise enhances the low and high frequencies.

Level: Use this control to adjust the output level of the Solo channel.

Solo/Rhythm select: Use this switch to select the Solo or Rhythm channel. When this switch is
depressed, the Solo channel is selected. With the switch in the out position, the Rhythm channel is selected. This switch is active only when the Solo-Rhythm/Clean Select switch is depressed.

Rhythm LED: This LED illuminates when the Rhythm channel is selected.

Gain: Use this control to adjust the amount of distortion produced by the Rhythm channel.

Low: Use this control to adjust the low frequency level of the Solo/Rhythm channel.

Mid: Use this control to adjust the midrange frequency level of the Solo/Rhythm channel.

High: Use this control to adjust the high frequency level of the Solo/Rhythm channel.

Level: Use this control to adjust the output level of the Rhythm channel.

Solo-rhythm/clean select: Use this switch to select the Clean channel or the Solo and
Rhythm channels. With the switch in the out position, the Clean channel is selected. When the switch is
depressed, either the Solo or Rhythm channel is selected, depending on the setting of the Solo/ Rhythm
Select switch.

Clean channel: A normal gain channel designed to give you crystal clean sounds.

Clean LED: This LED illuminates when the Clean channel is selected.

Vol: Use this control to adjust the output level of the Clean channel.

Low: Use this control to adjust the low frequency level of the Clean channel.

Mid: Use this control to adjust the midrange frequency level of the Clean channel.

High: Use this control to adjust the high frequency level of the Clean channel.

Reverb: Use this control to adjust the amount of reverb effect: in its fully counterclockwise position
the signal will be "dry" (without any effect). As you rotate the control clockwise the amount of reverb increases.

CD input: Use these RCA jacks to connect the output from a CD player or tape deck to the amplifier.
The signal at these jacks is combined into a mono signal which is sent to the internal power amp circuit.
Use the CD or tape player's output level control to adjust the signal for the proper mix with your guitar.

Power: Use this switch to turn the amplifier on (top of the switch depressed) and off (bottom of the
switch depressed). The switch illuminates when the power is on.
