"Sure you can't go wrong."

Feature:
It has everything I need. The only thing it doesn't have that I would like is 1/4" outputs. It has speak-on and that is what I use but I will proberly never use the binding post outputs.

Quality:
It is made very well and is solid. When it arrives it is packaged very good which is good because the delivery person dropped it hard on my concrete porch.

Value:
I think this amp is a great deal. I went about the internet and read review after review on this amp because I am a price shopper but also want quality as well. This is a very good deal for a power amp this size. If you are reading this jump on the bandwagon before Behringer decides to raise their prices.

Desirability:
Hey I shopped around for two months before I decided to purchase this power amp. I want value but more important quality and this amp has both.

Sound:
I own this amp and I use it for my dual 15's. The base has the thump and highs are crystal clear.

Ease of Use:
The dip switches are easy and convient to use. Basically if you know how to run other amps you can run this one.

Support:
Well I got use of there support. I opened everything up and took my old amp out of my rack case. I installed and hooked everything up and I was getting only a whisper through my speakers when it was turned on. I recheched all connections and everthing seemed ok so I unhooked everything and reinstalled old amp to verify connections. The old amp fired rite up and sounded ok. The reason I bought another amp was for backup equipment and more power. I tried the new amp again and still only received a whisper through my speaker system. I decided to call Behringers support phone number. I called and immedietly Behringer picked up with a live person not a machine like most companies. I was transfered to tech support and one of there technicians helped me troubleshoot the new amp. We went through each step eliminating unneccary equipment to find the solution. The last step was to replace the wiring between the mixer and the amp. I asked for the tech's name and ran to the store for new wire. I came home replaced the wire and fired it up and everything sounded great. I called up the Behringer tech and thanked him for his assistance. I still don't know why the wiring would work on my old amp but not on the new Behringer amp. I think there support was fantastic, but I'm giving it a 9 instead of a 10 because there support line was long distance and not an 800 number which can be expensive if you sit on the line and troubleshoot their products.

Overall:
Yes I recommend this amp. Before I wrote this review I ran it in two gigs and did well. I have no complaints. I can't give you the long range aspect of this product but the other reviews and specs. of this product appear to be true.

Big power, small price!
Musicians ask a lot of their power amps. Do your work, take the abuse I give you, stay cool, keep quiet, and don't give me any problems. Oh, and how about some more power? You ask, and the Europower EP2500 answers. With two 1200-Watt channels into a punishing 2 ohm load, or 2400 Watts bridged mono at 4 ohms, this beast packs enough power for the big gigs with a musical clarity and richness not normally found in a power amp at this price point.

Rock-solid reliability
Whether you're pushing the mix out to the mains, driving stage monitors, or powering a subwoofer, you can't afford to have the power amp quit on you in he middle of a gig. Behringer's high-quality components and rock-solid engineering set your mind at ease when it comes to reliability. They select only the best transistors from Toshiba and Fairchild Semiconductor for dependable performance. A beefy, high-current toroidal transformer provides low-noise power with tons of headroom for clean tone, even at high volumes. What's more, the EP2500 meets ISO9000 standards, assuring years of trouble-free use in high-stress situations. Drop it in your rack and forget about it. The power will be there whenever you need it.

Improved cooling system
When you're rocking at full volume, your power amp is getting a workout. It will build up some serious heat, so you need plenty of ventilation to keep things running smoothly. Behringer's special "back-to-front" ventilation system pulls air across internal components and out of the housing, simultaneously dissipating heat and improving air-flow. A variable speed fan automatically adjusts RPM's based on power load, and an integrated air filter helps keep the interior components dust-free. Jam as hard and as long as you want; the EP2500 keeps its cool under pressure.

Features and connectivity
Europower amps boast many features designed for ease of use and seamless integration into your live sound system. Independent limiters on each channel protect against distortion, while clip- and level-LED's help you monitor the amp's performance. Independent, per-channel, circuitry protects both the amp and your speakers from heat and DC-power overloads. If there's too much rumble, cut low frequencies at 30Hz or 50Hz with the selectable filters. This will clean up the bottom end and focus the mix for better clarity. Balanced XLR and 1/4 in. TRS inputs, plus professional Speakon and touch-free binding post outputs allow for quick and easy insertion into any signal path. This amp is capable of running in multiple modes for flexible use in a permanent installation or a road rig. Run the mains in stereo, bring the mix to the musicians with parallel monitors, or shake the whole room with all that power mono-bridged to a sub. However you use it, you'll have the power and reliability to get you through the most demanding gigs with no hiccups.
2 x 1200 Watts Power Amplifier
The EP2500 is an extremely musical power amp that can take a whole night's worth of abuse without missing a beat -- even at 2 ohms! The Europower EP2500 is a dependable workhorse that will never let you down.

You get enough real-world Watts to get you through the roughest gigs: 2 x 1,200 watts into 2 ohms or 2,400 watts into 4 ohms bridged mono operation. Experience has probably taught you that there is nothing worse than when your amp runs out of breath. With Europower, you've got your back covered all the way.

From the deepest bass all the way up to the most subtle highs, you will be amazed at the clarity and richness of sound. This kind of multi-faceted performance was previously possible only with amps costing hundreds more.

The Europower EP2500 meets the needs of professional musicians, for both installed applications or on the road. No corners were cut in the design process. You can rest assured that these are tough, reliable amps built to last and last. After all, you have come to expect nothing less from Behringer.

Each Europower has a massive power supply with a low-noise toroidal transformer and lots of headroom, so your music sounds great -- even when you push the amp to the limit -- and it stays that way! Add an extremely effective cooling system and you have an amp that is guaranteed to be trouble-free.

Further underscoring a serious commitment to excellence, Behringer uses only high-quality, high-speed Fairchild® and Toshiba® transistors that are second to none. As with all Behringer products, the Europower Series is manufactured in accordance with the ISO9000 certified management and manufacturing system, resulting in a high-quality product that will survive years of the toughest use.
