These lightweight speakers make load-in easy!
Without a roadie, even the shortest tour can wear out a working musician. Every calorie burned lugging PA speakers in and out of the van takes a little bit of energy away from your onstage performance. Fortunately, Behringer's Eurolive PA speakers offer professional-quality sound in a lightweight package. Load-in gets easier, leaving you rested and ready to rock.
Two-way design for full-range sound
Behringer B215A loudspeakers give you everything you need for front-of-house sound reinforcement. The two-way design delivers full-spectrum reproduction for tight, clear sound across the entire frequency range. Behringer uses a 15-inch long throw driver to deliver bass and low mids with power and focus. Far from boomy and muddy, you'll hear plenty of definition coming from your rhythm section. A tight groove lets the audience instantly connect with the song, adding to the energy in the room. Crossed-over at 1.9kHz, high frequencies are sent to the large, titanium-diaphragm tweeter for natural top-end tone. Combined with the integrated waveguide, you get a wide stereo spread and no dead spots. With a frequency response from 55Hz to 20kHz, nothing gets lost. Your fans deserve to hear the whole mix, no matter where they're standing. B215A's make it happen.
Powered speakers add volume, not weight
While some PA speakers require heavy external amplifiers, B215A's are internally powered. You get all the volume you need to bring any room to life, with less trips to the tour van. The woofer receives 200 Watts RMS, with 50 more Watts to the tweeter. The loudspeaker is rated at 400 Watt peaks, for plenty of headroom and no unwanted distortion. Crank them up loud and push your mix out to the masses with authority. At only 51 pounds each, you won't be missing those massive power amps and passive cabinets any time soon.
Onboard processing for last-minute tweaking
Onboard processing further enhances the B215A's sound. A dedicated level control adjusts for mic- or line-levels, with a clip LED for overload protection. Boost the gain to make the most of low mixer levels, or roll it back to tame extra-hot output. Either way, your mix comes through clean and strong. To add sparkle, give the two-band EQ a spin. You may find a room with painted brick walls and hardwood floors has to much reflection. You don't need to mess with your mixer, just back the highs off a bit on the B215A. This will tighten up your sound and cut down on the added ambience. On the flip-side, a heavily carpeted room may soak up too much bass. Pump up the lows right at the speaker to round out the overall tone. These few simple adjustments make it easy to tweak your tone and compliment any venue.
Versatile connection options
If you've been playing shows for a while, you probably have some PA gear already. Behringer designed these B215A speakers to easily fit into any sound rig. The back panel includes jacks in both XLR and 1/4-inch format to accept any mixer output, They are servo-balanced, so you won't be adding unwanted noise into the signal path. Leave the heavy speakers at home; your B215A's will jump right in without missing a beat. You like your existing setup but just want extra reinforcement? No problem. B215A loudspeakers come with an additional jack, known as the loop output. This connection bypasses the onboard EQ, sending the unprocessed signal to a second cabinet. Run four front-of-house mains, or add subs; it's up to you. With so much versatility, you'll find all kinds of uses for these speakers.
