Safety First!
While it's good to project an element of danger via your stage persona, actual danger via your lighting elements is best avoided. The On-Stage LS7730 easily supports up to 200 pounds of lighting equipment, and with a tripod base width of 48 inches, it'll take a direct linebacker tackle to bring it down. Even at its full 11.5-foot height, the On-Stage LS7730 is a reliable stage partner. Yet the entire assembly folds down to fit in a lighting gig bag and weighs less than 35 pounds for maximum gig-ability.
Room For Lots Of Lights
Do you have, let's say, sixteen lights? You're in luck: the On-Stage LS7730 can hold your entire collection! The main horizontal truss can expand out to 10 feet across, accommodating up… read more to eight par-cans to help you spread light all around the stage. Additionally, atop each stand is a "T" bar that can hold four more cans each (or other special effect devices like dynamic LED or laser units). A fully-loaded, fully-extended On-Stage LS7730 at the back of a stage and at its nearly twelve-foot elevation is truly an awesome sight to behold.
There's a lot you can do to impress an audience, but if you want to make each gig unforgettable, you're going to have to take your show to the next level. Let zZounds and the On-Stage LS7730 help you get there. read less

The affordable On-Stage LS7730 stand and truss includes mounting hardware and features rock solid construction. Its black aluminum finish looks fantastic and practically disappears on most stages. Each of the 2 included T-bars holds up to 4 lights and the I-beam holds up to 8 lights. Specs include a 10-foot span, and a very impressive total load capacity of 200 lbs. (evenly distributed). What I like about this setup is that you are basically covered for any size show because it is essentially like having (4) rigs in one.
A) you can use (1) lone T-Bar if you find yourself with tight quarters
B) you can use (2) T-bars in unison
C) you can set it up as a 5’ Truss with or without T-bars
Or…
D) full 10’ Truss System with or without T-bars
I have yet to use my T-bars but they came with nice heavy duty mounting hardware (bolts, washers, lock washers, & thumbscrews) which I wasn't expecting.
The thumbscrews also fit the treading on my O-Clamps… which is nice because I lost of the originals.
The stands themselves are much heavier/nicer than I expected. They are more than enough to secure the truss and I wouldn’t be afraid to throw my 75 lb Cerwin Vega’s on them either if I needed to use them as speaker stands.
I would eventually like to upgrade to Crank Up Stands but this is about as good as it gets at this price point.
Features
Very sturdy yet super light weight
Ease of Use
As others have stated the manual is lacking but I figured it out relatively quickly.
Quality
Overall it is a good solid system but I dinged it a few points because not all of the holes line up as they should. You have to wrestle it a bit to get it all fitting together.
Value
For the money it is probably the best system out there.
