"THE BEST RIG EVER!!!!!!!"
Overall:
a friend of mine has this cab, the Hartke 4200 cab (4x10) and the Yamaha BBTH500 digital amp head. get all of these for a total of $1550. this cab's lows are so powerful, each vibration has the shockwave of a nuclear bomb. the 4200 (4x10) has the midrange that will have you gasping for air and the highs on the extremely powerful 2 in. tweeter inside a much larger than average horn will be like needles in your ears. the amplifier can produce many different shapes of sound: flat, tube, solid state, R&B, "vintage" (really fat), modern, classic, heavy, drive, distortion, and fuzz. you can do anything with the compressor, there are almost no boundaries with the EQ, and you can save the sounds you have made into a hard drive.
the fine print: the 2x15's are only necessary if your bass has 5 strings or more, or if you tune your 4 string bass down to a low C or lower. the 4x10 is necessary only if you slap or play a lot of high notes on the high strings, especially on a 6 or 7 string bass when it comes to the high strings.

"THIS CABINET ROCKS MY FACE OFF!!!"
Feature:
Good handles, nice fuzzy carpet, tough grill, etc. It's a cabinet, what else do you want? How about some freaking casters on this beast! Thats the first thing you do as soon as you get it, and then go buy a truck or a hatchback car. Oh yeah, and it sucks living in a 3rd floor apartment by the way...
Quality:
I understand the whole plastic corners stack nice theory, but.. wear and tear, down the road, how many times are they going to break and crack and be replaced? Can't go wrong with metal corners - would be much more durable.
Value:
Hartke is best value hands down. You can get a totally freaking awsome rig from hartke (2X15XL, HA7000, & 2.5XL = $1,500) for like the price of an ampeg head, or a SWR cabinet. Oh, and by the way, not only is Hartke cheaper, the sound and boom is SO much better than anything else I have ever heard. First time I heard a Hartke, I was sold for life - I'll never play anything else.
Desirability:
You know you want it, what could be sweeter than beautiful shiny aluminum driver's thumping in the stage light... brings tears to my eyes...
Sound:
This cab ROCKS MY FACE OFF!!! My neighbors are going to kill me b/c this cabinet w/ my 3500 head shakes the whole freaking apartment building. This is a must have for 5 string players, my 4X10 TP totally farts out on my low B-string. The high's on this cab are totally under-rated by the way, they sound every bit as good as my hartke 4X10 TP (which I'm selling).
Support:
They are very knowledgeable and helpful, a little slow on email turnaround time though.
Overall:
Hartke for life - end of story. <Trust me on this>
