Value:
absolutely fabulous
Desirability:
very nice
Sound:
the shells are all very good for the price. but the heads are craptacular. i replaced all the toms and bass with reno pinstripe heads. i didnt like the snare so i threw it out all together. i got a yamaha snare with a reverse dot CS batter head on it.and for the resonant heads i got all remo ebony ambassadors. i also put 14" sabian hi hats, 20" sabian ride, 18" and 16" crashes. Now it sounds fantastic. im am in a band and i always get remarks on what a fabulous set it is. so with about $300 dollars more on the kit ($600 total) you can get an excellent kit for about 60% of the price of a well known brand drum kit.
Overall:
For the rest of my life, lookout people this is gonna be my rookie kit when im the next lars ulrich!! it will be priceless

Feature:
The best drum pedal comes loose very easy and the bolt for the top high hat comes loose also but all of the other features are great.
Overall:
This was my very first drum set. It is a great setup for the beginning drummer. It includes two rack toms, a floor tom, a 22" bass drum, a 14" snare drum, a drum throne, a pair of drum sticks, a drum key for tuning, a 16" crash/ride cymbal, and a 14" high hat all with required stands. If you have been drumming for a while or just want a better quality sound I would advise throwing out both of the cymbals and buying Zildjian or Sabian cymbals (high hat, at least one 16" crash, and a 20" ride). All of the heads that come with this set are terrible. I bought Evans two ply heads for all of the drums, except the bass drum I got an Emad, and Evans resonate heads for the bottoms of the drums. The price for this set is very reasonable and your best bet if you are a beginner or not sure that drums are for you. At first the sound quality of these drums are not the best, but once you change out the heads and get new cymbals it has a very respectable sound at a much more generous price than those of competitors.
The shells are made up of some type of Chinese wood nothing compared to maple, but once again if you change the heads you can get a much better tone out of it and it is much cheaper than maple or other types of wood. The shells are also coated with a dark tinted plastic material therefore causing a somewhat distorted sound, but the sound after the upgrades is still great compared to the price. In the end, all of the upgrades and the initial cost results in hundreds of dollars cheaper than those of competition. I hope this helps in making your decision on which drum kit is best for you.
