The Ebony Powerstroke 3 features a thin underlay at the outer edge of the head to subtly dampen unwanted overtones. Ebony P3 heads are best known for use as a resonant bass drumhead. This creates perfect balance of mid and low tones that has quickly made Ebony Powerstroke 3 one of Remo's most preferred resonant bass drumheads.

Crafted from 1-ply 10-mil Ebony film with a pre-cut 5" hole with a DynamO reinforcement ring installed, the Powerstroke P3 Ebony 5" Black DynamO delivers midrange and low end resonant tones.

I have been playing drums for 54 years. The quality of the drum head has changed dramatically since I started playing drums in 1962 . I have tried them all .All 10 of my drum kits have these Powerstroke heads on them. They always sound superb Buy one head you won't be sorry.
