"A great, small PA cabinet that won't break the bank."

Like I said above, I haven't tested the PR-10's oustide of my living room yet, but I have no doubt that they'll fill my needs nicely.

I have to consider this a prelim review because I just received the PR-10's yesterday: I haven't gigged with them yet, but I tested them in my living room with miked acoustic guitar, mandolin, and voice. Along with a Behriger PMX2000 pwered mixer, they're replacing a Crate PAFXSYS PA system. 15 seconds after first powering-up the Crate system about a year ago, I knew it was absolute junk. The Crate speakers overdrive EXTREMELY easily, and the reverb on the Crate mixer is so noisy that it's useless. Now, let's move on the the PR-10's: they look great (very cool molded enclosure with integrated pole mount, stiff speaker grille, and integrated carry handle), they sound great, and they won't break the bank if you're looking for a clean, punchy, small PA cabinet. And surprisingly, in this day over low-cost overseas labor....they were designed and made in the USA. I haven't tested them (yet) with my acoustic/electric guitar, but based on what I've heard so far by hammering loud bluegrass guitar and mandolin rhythm, I expect them to do just fine. I'm equally impressed by the Behringer PMX2000 mixer, which I've gigged with a few times: VERY clean sound and great reverbs, amazing array of features and indicators, and superb value.

Excellent. They look as good as they sound, and the enclosure has the appearance that it can withstand abuse.
Value
I didn't expect miracles from a relatively low-priced, 10-inch PA cabinet, but so far, the PR-10's have exceeded my expectations. If your playing situation allows a 10-inch PA cabinet, buy them.
