Feature:
Nice EQ section but no tuner-out/mute/direct out. Very noisy constant speed fan.
Quality:
Seems sturdy but I'm driving it so hard it may not last.
Value:
Average for the price
Desirability:
Looks ok. A black face amp section like the 3500 would be nicer
Sound:
Great sounding amp but very quiet for a 250watt combo. Much quieter than the GK400RB (180watt) rig I had used prior to the Hartke. Don't expect this to be any louder than a 100watt combo.
Has great low end. I think they sacrificed driver efficiency for huge bottom end.
Support:
Hartke has been very good at answering questions.
Overall:
Great sound but very quiet compared to what you'd expect from a 250watt.

Feature:
In my opinion it has too many bells and whistles and not the more important features such as a tuner input and the ability to run another speaker cabinet.
Quality:
Built very well...sturdy.
Value:
It isn't too expensive compared to other combos of this wattage. But still too much if you aren't going to be happy.
Desirability:
It looks "in your face" and can be loud if you crank up the pre amps. I would only keep it for a back up amp and only if it sold for about 2 or 3 hundred dollars.
Sound:
I've been playing bass for 30 years and have owned many amps. The sound isn't horrible but it can't compare to other's I've had. Especially Ampeg. No matter what you do it remains very midrange.
Ease of Use:
The amp gives you many options..maybe too many. Even with all that it has, the sound is still average at best.
Support:
I contacted Samson to see if the horn would be affected if I changed the speaker to a 4 ohm (this way I could run another 4 ohm cabinet with it). Their answer was that they don't give advice about altering their products. So I traded it in for an Ampeg BA115HP combo and now I don't need and extension cabinet to make it sound good.
Overall:
Had it a few months then traded it in.
