I got this guitar for the 'built in' piezo pickup...and the acoustic abilities. I would get another one like mine...if it were lost or stolen. I really like the charcoal grey color.
Sound
It has a very nice 'strat' sound, and with the piezo...the acoustic sound is also quite good. The humbucker pickups give a deeper tone than a straight strat.
Features
The stereo output cable is nice. One split is the pickups, the other is the piezo...so you can amp them seperately...if you want. The 13 pin plug also carries the pickups (not the acoustic)...as part of the connection
Quality
Great finish. I put a little scratch on the back of it though...so now it is 'broken in' The neck plays well....something between a strat and a Gibson feel. I play out every week, and feel comfortable with the dependability.
Value
Quite happy with it...this is my first 'made in China' guitar, and they do great work.
Manufacturer Support
I got a quick response, and good information from their support staff. I added some Flatwound strings (11-50's)...and needed to re-adjust the tremolo arm springs. I got good advice on the 'how to'...to do it correctly.
The Wow Factor
It can do a wide range of tones, and with the Gr-20, is a very versitile instrument.

Musical Background:

Active Musician...worship team at my church

Musical Style:

Contemporary Christian.... lot of 'Hillsong' style
