3 mini-humbuckers. 1-piece mahogany neck. Mahogany body.
Overview
In 2003, Gibson's Custom Shop took the Non Reverse Firebird back to the future. A dramatic new finish color (TV White) offsets a return to an original spec: 3 pickups. In the late 60s, the Non Reverse Firebird III featured 3 P-90s, while the VII had 3 mini-humbuckers. This version combines the non-reverse design with the classic mini-humbucker pickup configuration.
