"If your true passion is music and your dedicated this is for you."

Feature:
It has lots of features, A sampler, A Sequencer (which is the easiest to use that I have ever come across), And of course the Best Drum pads ever made( Other pads aint got nothin on this machine)

Quality:
I have never wanted to test the durability, and i am not about to drop my MPC to give you a more through analysis. I have been bangin on thoose pads for like a year and no problems yet.

Value:
If you can cop one for below $1300 your gettin a bargin. It may seem like a major investment, However in a year you will be thanking god you bought this machine.

Desirability:
I own one, so yeah i want it.

Sound:
The Sound quality is whats expected from a work horse like the mpc.

Support:
I have heard that Akai is kinda of slow at getting back to you, I have never personally contacted them. I read the manual, and primarily I use Trial & Error.

Overall:
Wether your going to just bang out beats, use this to sequence your mpc drums and your midi data from other instruments, Or going to use this as a sampler, You cannot Miss with the MPC 2000xl. Nothing in its class can touch it, And if someoe talks trash about 99% of the time its because they cant afford one.

"Still bangin"

Feature:
I'm still learning new ways to use this baby. I've had this box for four years and I'm happy with the features.

Quality:
Well, just don't drop this boy, cause it will break. When my son was a baby, he beat my poor MPC to death messing up the data wheel. Keep babys away from the MPC 2000XL aight.

Value:
I guess you get what you pay for. I wish it wasn't so expensive but I don't regret spending the dollars.

Desirability:
It does have a sexy look to it. What caught my eye on one of these was those pads. I always wanted a MPC 60 back in the day but could not buy because of no dollars. As time went by, akai drop the MPC 2000 which was the cheapest but still out of my range. Once I saw the MPC 2000XL and the price, I had to dig in my pockets to get it.

Sound:
It sounds like any thing you put in it. The quality of sound is great. The response from the pads are excellent. This box can sound good just by it self. The Mpc 2000xl sounds good with anything because it has a sequencer you can lay some ill ass drums on. I use this baby to drive my Fantom S.

Support:
Neva needed support

Overall:
I will use this thing until it dies. And when it dies I will either have a MPC 2000XL spare or MPC 4000. Screw computer sequencers. Nuff Said. I wish I bit the bullet and bought a MPC or SP 1200 years ago. My production would have been light years from now. PS. That MV-8000 looks interesting.

The MPC2000XL - Until You Try It, You Won't Believe It
