Feature:
This package has everything needed to get the beginner rockin'. I often recommend this package to my new students.
Quality:
It's by Fender. It's cheap. But, for the money it's high quality!
Value:
This package is very much worth the price.
Desirability:
Looks like a Strat. Plays like a Strat. Can you go wrong?
Sound:
The guitar sounds great, but could use a little hotter pickups. The amp is what it is. A decent "beginner's" amp. Overall, it sounds good.
Support:
My only complaint is the inability to register these packages online as Fender claims that you can.
Overall:
BUY IT!!! I owe six of these packages and use them as loaners for my students. I do play to purchase a couple more.

Feature:
Complete setup, although I would definitely order some spare strings immediately. You will break at least one when you set it up for the first time.
Quality:
Spotless. I think everything has a very nice fit and finish and the only thing I noticed that is cheap is the bridge. The screws that hold the strings are soft aluminum and aren't very strong.
Value:
Best bang for the buck out there. There are other comparable kits too. If you try and hate the guitar, you aren't out that much money and will be able to recoup a fair amount of your investment quickly.
Desirability:
Sure, it isn't Zakk Wylde's signature model or a copy of Eddie Van Halen's cool guitar, but it is an attractive kit for the future rocker.
Sound:
Sound? It needs immediate assitance from a tuner and somebody who knows how to set a guitar up. Seems to hold its tune pretty well. I am a beginner, so the fact that it doesn't sound like somebody is beating a cat against a wall is pretty cool. Amp has a few settings to mess with as well.
Overall:
The best quote I heard is that it is a two year guitar. Strong enough to withstand the learning years. After that, I'm getting something really cool and expensive...
