"Gon' get me another one!"

Feature:
I wish it had a rolloff switch.

Quality:
The mic is well made and seems to be tough enough to live in the storage compartment of my SKB mic box,in its bag. For the money vs. bang it gets the job done.

Overall:
I own a small sound co. Since I bought this mic I have only used it in live applications, for overhead drum application it works well. I've also always had a problem bringing percussion out to the front of a loud stage mix but this mic proved delightful at delivering the goods. I am in the process of putting together a limited recording/mixing suite at home and I intend to buy a second NT-3.

"great clarity and range"

With my voice this mic really was the best option I found. i first bought a neuman kms105. I liked my cheap dynamic better. sure it was clear, but no love. I tried sienhiser (sorry about the spelling) tried shure 58 a and beta. 57 too...not much better than my cheapy dynamic. The rode was clear, warm and I bought it. At my next gig every one asked what I had done: they could understand all the words now.
