New Mahogany Shells
Export, like its sibling Export Select, now features a new 6-ply, 7.5mm, 100% Mahogany shell for increased warmth and striking tonality. These new Export shells are formed using Pearl's exclusive Heat Compression Shell Molding System, the same process used on all Pearl drums from entry-level to our top-of-the-line Masterworks drums. Pearl's proprietary overlapping seams are gapless and allow the shells to vibrate uniformly, unencumbered by air pockets like some others. This process is the most exacting on the market today and is responsible for Pearl's exceptional clarity and purity of sound.

Hardware: Pearl stands and pedals are guaranteed against defects in material and workmanship for a period of 3 years from date of original purchase.
Shells: Wood shells are guaranteed against material failure, ply separation or going out of round for a period of 3 years from date of original purchase.
