Crank up the volume with this Samson power amp. Its AB design and dual multi-speed fans allow for up to 1200 watts of power bridged or 600 watts per side.

The SX-1800 produces 1200 Watts of power from a class AB amplifier design. The SX-1800 lets you run a system at 600-Watts per-side in stereo mode with out breaking a sweat, thanks to the internal amplifier design and variable-speed fan cooling.

WARNING: Bridge mode is to be used only when the SX Series is connected to an 8 or 16 ohm speaker load. Use of Bridge mode with speaker loads of less than 8 ohms can result in severe damage to the unit due to excessive heat and current limiting and will void your warranty!

All Samson SX Series amps are designed to operate on 15 amp circuits and do not require special plugs or wiring. It is advisable to put each amp on a separate circuit to avoid popping a standard 15-20 amp breaker.

I expect this unit is a good overall investment given the price point, power and features. I expect to be satisfied with it for a while.
Sound
This amp was used to drive (2) dual 15" w/horn speakers and did an excellent job. Great volume and punch. Very good value for the money
Features
It's a power amp....What do you need besides a plug-n-play unit? Signal and clip indicators are easily visible and work well. Easy to use bridge/stereo/parallel switch. Speakon and 5-way binding post outs. XLR and 1/4 TRS ins.
Ease of Use
As I said, plug-n-play. Your up and running in a few short minutes.
Quality
Initial quality seems very good. We'll see how it stands up to regular club playing.
Value
The select b-stock unit from Zzounds was absolutely immaculate. A very fair power/quality/price combination.

The Wow Factor
How "sexy" can a power amp be? It does its job and that's sexy enough for me.
