Feature:
Plenty of noodling room. It's got the 7 band EQ, a bass and treble knob, pregain, bright, contour....etc. you can seriously get any kind of sound you want, but don't short change the bass and treble knobs. When i first got it, i was way into the 7 band EQ,and left the knobs down. don't do that, they really add alot to the sound. oh, good FX loop too. stupid idea to put that little rubber handle on top though, someone should lose his job for that one. and i'd have paid a few extra bucks for some freakin casters. it's a 72 pound amp, and you're supposed to carry it like your 15 watt practice amp.
Quality:
seems very well built to me. everything is tight. the knobs don't wiggle and the EQ doesn't pop or fuzz. all the jacks are solid. the grill is tough. it's a sturdy amp, but i do get a little iffy about the handle. when you pick the thing up sometimes it's hard to look down at that wee little handle that your baby is dangling from. but it's held up so far.
Value:
i got it for a great price. worth every penny. do yourself a favor and get this amp. you'll save a lot of money, and get a lot of amp.
Desirability:
sorta sexy i guess. i kinda dig the red and black thing, but it would look a little tastier to me if it had the side mounted handles and some freakin casters.
Sound:
It's got a nice growl on the low end, and the mids have some serious teeth too, but it comes with kind of a weak speaker, so you need to be careful with the low end of the EQ.
Support:
these guys offer like one option for a replacement speaker.
Overall:
this will keep me going for a couple years probably, but i need to get a stronger, 4 ohm speaker in it. they give you an 8 ohm stock. it's a hell of a lot better that the others for the same price, like an SWR i was thinking about. same price, half the wattage, and no features.one of these days i'll get like a thousand more watts and maybe an 812 cab, but it'll probably be peavey again. i love it's versatility, i hate that damn little handle on it, and can we get some freakin wheels please!?anywho, want some BOOM for your buck? get this amp. want one with wheels? they sell really nice casters at home depot for like 20 bucks.

Feature:
EFX loop, 7-band visual EQ, Active/Passive, Bright Switch, Countour Switch, Direct output.
Quality:
It's good, but you can't push it too far without clipping.
Sound:
Really good bass amp for my style (punk), the treble boost really shines, but the bass-side boosting is just slightly over par.
Overall:
I play with a punk band in a lot of small clubs and with our own sound system and thus far it's really nice. Sometimes you need about 5 watts more, but only sometimes.
