As with 4-inch Auralex Studiofoam Wedges, 4-inch Studiofoam Pyramids are recommended for larger spaces, rooms with pronounced low frequency problems or where sonic accuracy is mandatory and stronger acoustic absorption is required.
Having 4 sides exposed on each pyramid also yields more sound wave diffusion, which is desirable in some spaces. Thus, 4-inch acoustic Studiofoam Pyramids will yield less overall dryness than 4-inch Studiofoam Wedges.
Charcoal 4-inch Studiofoam Pyramid can be used on both the front wall and the ceiling of this high-quality mixing environment. Both places thrive with efficient broadband sound absorption.
Studiofoam Pyramid is also used to trim a rear wall cluster of T'Fusor sound diffusors as well as spot treat the rear sidewall with a 2x2 foot studiofoam panel.
