Feature:
Perfect nice clip and adaptor for different sized stands.
Quality:
Hard, Strong tough its well made and made to last.
Value:
For next to nothing its great and as its a top quality dynamic mic what mor could u ask for.
Desirability:
Looks good is good end of.
Sound:
Well to other people not rating it highly is probably becuase your not putting it in a correct position. but i find i can acheive clear punchy and crispy bass drum soudns with easy. Represents low end very well and boost at 60hz or lower is a great filler for the bass drum. I use it a lot in live and studio use. Plus why do you think so many studios use it becuase they know what there doing with it. And if u use it with maybe a Shure SM57. So Kick mic in the bass drum centre height and width near the non hit skin and a SM57 over the top of the bass pointing down at the beater it should sound wicked. Phase inverting the D112 can help if phase occurs.
Ease of Use:
Can range to differnet sounds easy to big and boomy right to clear and crispy and punchy all about where you place it. Can lack top end but eq can re instate that.
Support:
AKG no idea. But i expect good service.
Overall:
Easily 10 years. :P

Feature:
everything came with it, couldent have thought of anything else for it
Quality:
I would say a nice looking mic, sturdy, can deffintly drop it a few times and your sound will not be comprimised.
Value:
for a 15 year old kid who is messing around in his basement with some lower end recording gear, this is perfect.
Desirability:
not a bad looking mic, nothing different.
Sound:
This mic is ok for my basedrum, i tuned my basdrum really nice just for the mic and it didnt really compliment it. i wanted a super punchy crisp sound and this mic didnt do that. but for someone just starting out and making a little demo or something, this would do the job. but if your looking for studio quality, this is NOT it.
Ease of Use:
easy to use, no pre-amps needed or anything.
Support:
didnt need to phone anyone or ask questions so i wouldent exactly know.
Overall:
i just wasent happy with this mic becuase when i made a few demos for my band, and my friends bands. it just wasent a good sound, not what i was looking for anywase
