Feature:
It's easy to use you don't even need the manual. Just look up tips and tricks on Youtube.com and type DPS24,,,,
Quality:
It's the best , Same on Akai de-commissioning it sham, shame, shame, especially for that crappy DJ MPC5000.
Value:
Great value for money, it's an entire studio in a box like no other
Desirability:
I own one, and now hunting around for a second unit, I tried to run recorded sequences, like back up vocals extra instruments on stage whilst recording the entire concert and found the machine to take more time loding up different projects than I care to wait for, having said this, I will eventually use two DPS24 as twins, while one is playing back the sequences and recording the entire project, the other would be ready to hit record and play as soon at it's twin finishes the current project etc,etc...
Sound:
This is a reply to that guy who thought the AKAI DPS24 was made in China, WRONG! Also how dare you compare the DPS24 with a piece of crap like the Roland.
Ease of Use:
It's just like an older style reel to reel recorder but digital.
Support:
Havent needed any
Overall:
I will eventually buy about 5 or 6 units and just keep a few spares incase AKAI decide to not sell any more parts after a few years.

Feature:
Incredible editing capabilities, very good connectivity to other devices such as usb for Pc's, eight channels of built in adat. And just about any other kind of connection you'll need. 100mm touch sensitive faders with full automation.
Value:
The dps24 costs $2,700 and blows away the Roland vs2480 which costs around $3,500.
Desirability:
When you see it in person in all of it's enormity and grandeaur, you'll immediately get aroused.
Sound:
It's the best sounding 24track DAW that exists.
Overall:
As long as they continue to either sell this product or provide parts fir it I won't need anything else.
