"I absolutely love my Taylor!!"

Feature:
If you are looking for fancy designs and inlays, you wont find it here. This is a player. Although not short on beauty by any means. The craftmanship and solidity of this instrument is amazing. It seems so simple that it kinda makes you wonder why any guitar company can't make an instrument with this sound.

Quality:
Not a flaw on it!!

Value:
Spending a grand on guitar based on my skill level was kind of hard to justify. After playing it at a local music shop (where it was way over-priced I might add), I fell in love with it. I of course could not fork out the dough for it. I found one from a private seller who did not like the width of the neck. I got basically a brand new guitar and case for $900. (Music store wanted closer to $1600) After owning this for almost 8 months now, I would definitely spend the 1400 average price for this instrument.

Desirability:
Not much sex appeal just sitting on a guitar stand, but once the sounds come pouring out......wow.

Sound:
The sound is phenomenal. I am an intermediate player who upgraded from an Ibanez AW (which also sounds great by the way). I could not believe the difference in the tones produced by this baby versus any other acoustic I've owned.

Ease of Use:
Unreal!!! A lot of the difficulty I had with other guitars, I attributed to my skill level. So one of two things is true. This guitar made me a better player.....Or its just that easy to play!!

Support:
Haven't had to use any support, but I dont imagine there would be much difficulty.

Overall:
I do not think that I will ever get rid of this guitar. I may look for other Taylor products to add to my arsenal, but I couldnt see getting rid of this baby.

"TAYLOR DN4....WONDERFUL!!"

Feature:
Toip of the line Taylor hardsell case came with. very nice. Not many other features of this instrument besides super solid Taylor craftmanship.

Quality:
Its a Taylor....Super solid.

Value:
The price listed here at ZZOUNDS is relatively fair I think. I would pay this much for this guitar knowing what I know about it now. I did however get a much better deal from a private owner.

Desirability:
It doesnt scream "Sexy" or anything. Although it is a beautiful guitar there are no fancy inlays or artsy designs around the soundhole. Thats not a bad thing, it just wouldnt make a great showpiece. But for a daily player its wonderful.

Sound:
Best sounding guitar I've owned. I've had it for about 5 months now. I cannot compare it to Martin b/c I've never owned one. I've had a Gibson songbird deluxe, and a few Ibanez acoustic guitars. This one kills them. This thing rings through all ranges.

Ease of Use:
I was amazed when I first picked this up. It almost didnt make sense to have such a low action without much buzzing. The ease of play on this baby is phenomenal. The original owner sold it to me but it was basically brand new. I was a little leery as to why he would want to get rid of this guitar if it was so sweet. It does have a wider neck and he had small hands. Fits me perfect.

Support:
Havent had to deal with

Overall:
Could not have asked for a better guitar for what I paid for it ($750). I do not think theres another guitar out there that stacks up to this one for the dough.

About This Product!
Description
News
The heralded Dreadnought is the most traditional of all acoustics. By definition, it's a battleship of a guitar and our DN Series pays tribute to that legacy -- and then some. Taylor's Dreadnought's booming bass and articulate mids dare you to dig in and challenge your flatpicking prowess.

The look and tone of Taylor's Ovangkol/Sitka Spruce acoustic guitar combination rival almost any other in the high-end guitar world. Yet their ability to affordably source this beautiful, Rosewood-like tonewood keeps it decidedly within reach.
