Set-neck design with a semi-hollow body.
Overview
Artcore AXD successfully guitars deliver heavy tones without the heavy weight. These amazingly affordable instruments feature a set-neck design with a semi-hollow body. They are truly built to rock. The AXD71 features an all maple body for outstanding tone. This model offers some great features: a bound rosewood fingerboard, 22 large frets, an Ibanez ART1 bridge, ACH1/2 humbucking pickups, and chrome hardware.
When Artcore guitars debuted in summer 2002, they turned the music industry upside down. No longer were full and semi-acoustic guitars just big expensive jazz boxes for jazz players--even some of their competitors bought them (you just can't make this stuff up). With Artcore guitars you get an amazingly affordable price plus the quality and tone you expect from Ibanez, the guitar company with over four decades of experience making full and semi-acoustic guitars.
