Feature:
There aren't as many features as a workstation or something, but for a stage piano/midi controller, the features are very good. The ribbons are awesome as a midi controller, much more fun to use than a wheel.
Quality:
This keyboard is extremely durable and incredibly well made. I've heard of plenty of people who have spilled liquids in their SP88s and dropped them and not had any problems. The casing is made of metal, so I think it will last a very long time.
Value:
This is a VERY good buy and a better board than almost anything in its price range.
Desirability:
The stylish purple casing is very attractive and sleek, though that's really about it as far as the aesthetic appeal goes. The screen isn't that incredible, but it works well, and that's the important thing.
Sound:
Most people would probably buy a stage piano for the piano sounds, and if that's what you want, that's what you get. There's not an incredible amount of variety, but the piano sounds are fantastic and the other sounds are pretty good too.
Ease of Use:
The SP88 is very intuitive and very easy to play out of the box. The manual is well-written, so if you have any problems, you'll be able to figure them out quickly.
Support:
I haven't had to deal with customer support since I haven't had any real problems with the keyboard, but based on the strength of the manual, I'd assume that they're doing a good job helping their customers.
Overall:
Overall, this is a fantastic light-weight stage piano and the best in its class. I plan on keeping this for a long time and don't foresee any problems with it. I would highly recommend this keyboard to anyone looking for a good semi-weighted stage piano or midi controller. The durability is incredible, so if you want to travel with your keyboard, that ought to cement this keyboard as your best option. The purple casing is very cool and the piano sounds are very good. You have no reason to not buy one of these at this price, so g ahead and get one now!

Feature:
It comes with the pedal (among with the dc.) It so cool to have it comming with the pedal! (and its a good black thick pedal).
Now besides the accesories that may include, I dont think features are the strong of any dig.piano, i mean what could you possibly expect? to sample? to sequence? to fly directly to the stage? But I do have a features critic on this product, and it is about those fancy-wannabe ribbons. They seem just a waiste of about 10 cm of the width! well saying this may be a little too much since they do work on midi controlling, but it wouldnt hurt them too much either if they would aloud all of the organs and (why not) the eps to be affected by the ribbons! or to make one of the ribbons change the tune! like any regular ribbon.
Quality:
Sturdy as a tank. And I like to add I really like the feel of the keys, it is a very little bit light compared to a pianos´feel but its very well made, the lower section is heavier than the upper, nice detail!
Value:
I believe its a good inversion for the quality, but for my personal economy it was not cheap at all!
Desirability:
Big, heavy sturdy and black. Its investor on a stage, good presence.
Sound:
Beatifully mellower than a korg´s, vivaciously brighter than a yamaha´s and just much realistic than a roland´s, the piano sound in this product is the best one I´ve herd in the digital piano world. Of couse, there are better sounds in more advanced dig.pianos but these are much more expensive, so I am writing my comparision between the products of the same level (or the product´s competence, if you like)
I personally heared and played identical products of casio, yamaha, alesis, roland, gem and korg, but when I heard the kurz piano I said "this is the one, this works for me!"
Is a real gig mosnter! and that explains it about all. I´ve never did a recording, thought, I imagine is at least as good as it is live.
As a negative point I would say I would like if the "grand piano" were more sensitive, it has a low expressioness, the "stage piano" on the other hand is very sensitive but is not as thick as the grand piano, so some chords just dont stay sounding for much long.
Other point is about the other sound but piano. The one or two ep´s and one or two rhodes are good, the rest is not very usable. And i find only one organ to be of use,but would it hurt them to make all the organs and ep´s sensitive? (some are not :( ). The strings are usable (when i say usable i mean they are not superb, or a sound revelation to the ears, but they are not lame either), and we know strings can be lame! The pads are nice too.
But I personally were never insterested in many features or sounds but a good decent piano, and boy this baby has one! One piano on stage. I give a 10, because my paramethers are the products you could get by the same price and in terms of a piano sound this is the best!
Ease of Use:
Really simple and graphic interface when passing to one sound to another, sence each couple of sound has his own button (couple because they come two sounds per button, just press again and get the other spund).
General basic settings, such as transposing, changing the tune or the sensitivity or adding much or less level of reverb is not very complicated.
-Now I really want to add this obvservation, i didnt know if it belongs here or in "features", I think here is ok. I read somewhere the word "lightweight" as one of this piano´s good things. L I E !!! BIG FAT LIE! This got to be THE most heavy dig.piano of all! The manual says 30 lbs, I dont know were they come up with that number because this baby weights at lest the double!-
Support:
I never needed support. Only once I asked about the ribbons by email because I thought they dindt work and they answered me just hours later.
Overall:
Weak points of this piano are the weight (little too heavy!) the unpractical ribbons, the grand piano that´s not very sensitive and the ep´s and organs that are almost lame and not usable.
But it is light enough to carry (for a couple of minutes, lol) and there are some others patches that sound good, especially the strings and pads. Again the strong of this product are the piano sounds, which are lovely! Obviously no one (should) expect to get a real piano sound from any digital product, but this is more than close enough!
The "stage piano" is my favourite, I would like to be as thick as the "grand piano" but the diference is bearly considerable. I wolus like it too if the decay were more slow, if the sound kept sounding a bit longer, especially in piano or pianissimo play, that CAN be accomplished with the "warm piano" but since its some kind of mix of a piano with some ep it doesnt have the clarity of a piano patch, but it sounds great anyway.
In overall, the great piano sound overcomes any flaw on this product, since its the main feature and it is the best among his competitors.
