Sound
Martin Marquis strings bring the right amy of brightness and mellowness to the 12 string, which with some strings can be harsh. In addition, the particular gauging gets it right for string to string balance and playability. The silk wrapping at the base of each string prevents the bridge from getting gouged by raw wire and also helps eliminate harsh overtones. Best choice.
