"Awesome pedal."

Feature:
I think it should have come with a adapter hole, but mabye they didnt put it in because it is battery friendly. The input and output hold dont hold the cables very well but its easy to fix. Other than that its perfect.

Quality:
Its made all out of metal, so its held up for alot of my gigs (although i dont recommend it for gigs, SEE in features.)

Value:
This is probably the best deal you could ever get. i mean 60 bucks for a legendary pedal? Cant beat that.

Desirability:
ehh. Its not like attractive but it does look cool.

Sound:
The sound..Its OKAY, not the best. It sounds alot better with a Boss overdrive, so if your planning to get this make sure you have a overdrive or some kind of heavy distortion, just to bring out the muff tone more. The sustain is not the best, i would definetly recommend a Big Muff USA edition if you want more sustain, but if you want fuzz go with this.

Ease of Use:
Oh yeah, its like the most user friendly pedal, its got 3 knobs but its just Volume, Sustain, and Tone.

Support:
Well, to say ive never had to call the company for a complait or anything!

Overall:
Awesome Awesome AWESOME pedal. The reason i didnt give it a 10 is because of some of the features.

"Great sound, but some bad design decisions."

Feature:
There are some major issues here. First off the input/output is reversed which makes cabling inconvenient. Second, there is no power-adaptor option (which is bad if you hate batteries as much as I do). Third, the stomp button is way too close to the chicken-head knobs. I often find this screws me up live as I end up accidentally adjusting the settings when I'm just trying to turn the effect on/off.

Quality:
Very solidly constructed externally... built like a tank in fact. But I've had some internal troubles with it as I tried to use a 9V battery adaptor, and it wasn't too hard to end up stressing the terminal wires and disabling the pedal. But that's really not a standard use so I can't complain too much.

Value:
Great vintage sound, and super cheap compared to actual vintage gear.

Desirability:
I think it's cooler looking than even the original Big Muff. But some of that cool design gets in the way too, so you be the judge.

Sound:
I love the sound of this thing. Great gain-boosty fuzz and sustain. What more could you ask for?

Ease of Use:
Very easy to get your sound. But the glitches listed in the features section make it hard to use live.

Support:

Overall:
I've loved, and struggled with this pedal for a number of years. But now I think I'm going to replace it (with a Little Big Muff). Players who are less reckless than me, might get nothing but joy out of it, so this is definitely not a thumbs-down review!

This pedal's distortion/sustainer effect, with its rich, creamy violin-like sustain, has been used by countless musicians, even Jimi Hendrix. This Big Muff reissue uses the same design as the prized original with the addition of low-noise, military-grade transistors. A truly timeless piece, it can be found in the racks of such luminaries as Pink Floyd's David Gilmour, as well as rising stars like Chris Traynor of Helmet.
